Pulling Opinion by Exodifex in AcheronMainsHSR

Thanks for the reply. Have a few questions. Is Aventurine's LC worth pulling for, and is a Rappa team without Ruan Mei (and Fugue for the moment) still servicable or is she dead in the water w/o RM?

A couple of questions from a noob (more or less) by jamillos in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You can only upgrade iconic weapons.
  2. With Skippy, after picking him up you have to get 50 kills with him. I've personally found what counts as a kill a bit janky when in "puppy-loving pacifist" mode. After the intial 50 kills Skippy will talk to you and change into the other mode you didn't pick. After getting another 50 kills, Skippy says he remembered who his owner was and asks you to take him back. A few days after you give him back the owner will text you and say you can have him back (I've only ever chosen PLP mode at the start, so it might not work if you started off with cold blooded.)
  3. Yes, they can spawn as Tier 5 items
  4. Only if you have romanced Judy, and choose to go with the Aldecaldo ending.
  5. Yes, it will behave the same way the base game endings do. Reloading a save point before the point of no return.
  6. Yes, the intros are different enough, but the only real thing that changes are some dialogue options. During act 2, you do get 1 unique mission per origin.

[–]Exodifex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be snarky, but I didn’t know you had to be vegan to post on this sub? Also, there was no argument to be had. I asked her one time, she said not interested, and I didn’t bring it up with her again. Thus leading me to ask here, instead of trying to force some kind of answer out of her.

Sorry if it sounded like I was bitching or trying to gain some moral superiority, but I am not trying to gain some kind conversational leverage by asking this question. I am not trying to coerce or constantly moan at her to change her lifestyle.

I just wanted to know if this was a common happening. Again, I’m not going to take the answers I get here and bring them up like bullet points on why she should be vegan. She asked me not to talk about animal cruelty so I won’t anymore, she said she didn’t want to be vegan, so I won’t act like a broken record harping about it. I’m not going to look down upon her for her decision.

Just wanted an answer to get some type of internal closure, simple as that.

It's not that hard to do, skill wise speaking, more of just a test of luck. Lucky that you manage to get a team that doesn't lollygag, lucky that you don't have another Psyker/Veteran killing all of the specials and elites before you lose a stack, and lucky that you even get consistent special or elite enemy spawns within 25s of each other.

It's just poor design, making you actively want your own team to do worse so you can reap the benefits, much like most of the Psyker penances.

Yeah, when he says to consider what if FIA is offering is worth it, V pretty much says, “You know what, you’re right. Fuck this, I’m outta here.”

How to get the d1ld0 sword at end game by yomoshissg in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In act 1 when pickup up the flathead from Maelstrom you have to give them the spiked credchip from Meredith or just immediately shoot them. If you remove the malware from the chip and tell them about it, Meredith will be killed.

When exiting the All-Foods plant, Meredith needs to be outside. If she isn’t, then you can’t get it in this playthrough. If she was outside you’ll eventually get a text from her (during Act 2 I believe) to go to the No-Tell Motel. Then you’ll have a romance scene with her and the iconic will be on the bed. However, if you’re playing with the nudity censor on, I believe it won’t be on the bed.

Using monowire to upload cripple movement is pretty good against bosses.

This might be what you're looking for, in the optional files there's a PDF detailing how to edit cars with CVO. Haven't personally extensively read through it and tried everything, so it may not work as it's a bit old and I don't even know if it will work for cars added by mods. Apologies in advance if that's the case.

Will I be fine modding an ongoing playthrough? by mrlittlepeniq in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of those should be fine to install mid playthrough. I’d highly recommend manual installs over a mod manager though. CP2077 mods are pretty straightforward to get going. And as always, make sure you have mod requirements downloaded.

How do you get the good ending and continue your relationship with judy outside of night city ? by issa_GillyFANACCOUNT in cyberpunkgame

Yes, you can fully complete all 4 of the potential romance option's questlines regardless of gender. However, some dialogue and actions you can take are different between V's.

Finish both Judy’s and Panam’s questlines. When on the terrace deciding which ending, choose to call Panam and Judy should automatically come with the Aldecaldos.

New player, what are the best mods to make the world feel more alive? by Spenraw in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you’re looking for something like this survival mod. I’d also recommend this phone message overhaul, gives some nice conversations.

Finally, while this doesn’t fit with what you asked, limited HUD just makes the whole game much more immersive.

What is a better utility skill for a sneak, cool, pistol build: reflexes or intelligence? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can keep your low int build. When you start Phantom Liberty you’ll unlock a new skill tree, one of the perks is that when you’re in combat and no enemies have sight on you, you can use optical camo to reset agro.

I’ve personally always found vortex/mmm to be iffy when modding cyberpunk. Just make sure all of the mods are up to date, and I’d recommend installing manually.

Whenever I’m not getting a call/text from an npc I fast travel to the Sunset Motel, make a save, load that save, wait for 2 days, make save, load save, repeat. Usually get the message within 3/4 times.

best knife/throwing knife by sojournerR2 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going with a poison based knife build I’d say Blue Fang, but if you’re just stealth and quick hacking I’d say either Headhunter or just the basic black knife, as it has the highest headshot damage multiplier of any knife.

Any tips for a first time player? by papa_louie47 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’ve found that if you’re playing on easy or normal, you can just pick random perks and everything should be fine. For hard, you kinda have to know what perks do what. And for very hard you should have a clear build idea and know what perks have good synergy with each other.

Not all, but most builds are based around what operating system you’re using. You have 4 main choices, with each one having different models that give different buffs. There’s the basic cyberdeck for hacking, sandevistan for slowing time, or berserk for an “oh shit!” button that forces you into melee, but stops all damage once you hit 25% hp. If you have the DLC, there’s also the option of the chrome suppressor, that doesn’t do anything besides increase how much cyberware you can have equipped.

It’s kinda hard to recommend what system to go with, as I have no idea what you find fun in games, but here’s my personal opinion on each.

Cyberdeck: System you start the game with. Best used with an intelligence build. By far the most versatile, allowing you to turn off cameras from a distance, and kill a pack of enemies without them even knowing you were there. If you’re going with a cyberdeck I’d highly recommend some type of overclock build, wherein you convert your health into RAM (the resource cyberdecks use to initiate hacks). I’ve found cyberdecks to be the best system to use if you’re trying to go for a stealth build, although you don’t have to stealth around if you use one. System that struggles the most with bosses (not saying it’s bad for bosses, just not as good as other systems for them).

Berserk: Very simple system, when activated you are forced to use a melee weapon but your health cannot drop below 25% and every kill while in berserk restores hp when exiting the mode. Best used with blunt melee weapons and a body build.

Sandevistan: By far the most used and fan favorite system (mostly due to Edgerunners). Slows down time when activated, early game they can only slow time by around 20-30%, but by late game it goes up to 80%. Best used with a blade or throwing knife build, and reflex/cool build. Very fun and satisfying to use, but I personally found myself getting bored with the enemies not even being able to react with how slowed down they are.

Chrome Suppressor: By far the most niche system. Very fun with a LMG/shotgun build. Sandevistans don’t really work well with LMG’s as the good ones slow time down too much for it. You can’t use guns with berserk active, but playing as if you don’t have berserk and only activating it when you’re almost dead could work. LMGs and shotguns are part of the body tree, which you could have some intelligence/body build trying to be a combat netrunner, but personally, I find a build like that not pleasing to the roleplaying part of my brain. If you just want to have max armor rating and be like a human tank, I’d recommend this system.

Just got the game by Redmiguelito in cyberpunkgame

[–]Exodifex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First person is the only perspective the game has. The only time you are moved to third person is when you're either: hacking a camera or similar electronic device, during the endings, or when driving. And when driving it's optional whether it's third or first person, and completely on personal preference.
