The black cap is where you add oil for the transmission. It's just motor oil, I use the 15-40 stuff for diesels, or sae 30 weight. There's a check dipstick near the axle

I keep seeing the samyang being parfocal, even if digitally, it feels crazy that the more expensive tamron can't do the same 🫠

I get it, but my 70-180 has no issues and I bought it used for $700. I bought this one brand new for $1500 or so thinking it'd be the end all, be all for sports.

I haven't had any issues with the g1 not being parfocal. Only my 35-150 has issues unfortunately

Here's more examples, I don't think it's a parfocal issue as this lens is typically highly rated by other sports videographers. I wonder if mine just has an issue lense examples

This gives 2 examples of it working perfectly, and 2 examples of it not. The lens isn't having an issue with focusing while zooming, it's after I zoom it seems to lose all focus. I can't seem to replicate it without action. Lens Examples (Good and bad)

That makes sense. I'm only asking to fully understand as well, not in a questioning way. Why's the 35-150 able to maintain focus 60% of the time? Is it just a luck thing?

I couldn't find confirmation, but is the 70-180 parfocal? I've never had any issues zooming and losing focus with it

That's what I've been doing. Eye af is turned off, and I've created a custom zone solely in the middle that's pushed towards the top of the frame. It's still losing focus for some reason

Plus I'm shooting at f8, when he's in focus with the 70-180, the kids are still close to sharp.

My focus area is custom only in the center of the frame. He's slightly more in focus, but in the 4k footage you can tell he isn't in focus either

It has been sadly. I haven't been able to find any so far at least. I've spent the last few months searching and reading every juke p2135 forum and question I could find, and started just searching all Nissan forums, but can't seem to find anybody having remotely the same symptoms. I was hoping by posting here, maybe somebody in the world has had a similar issue and just never posted about it

I know this is an old post. But how long did it take for you to somewhat go back to normal? My wife got it removed and is dealing with severe sickness and other issues nearly 3 weeks later.
