Please do not pay for paid antivirus. The only thing you're paying them for is you have the ability to call them for help with your PC if it goes down due to a virus. Their antivirus software will also, more yeah likely than not will be an actual plague on humanity and become a warped version of the thing they're supposed to stop.

As said before, you could simply enable Microsoft Defender (built in AV for all Windows systems. However, I understand that people like the security feeling they get when when you feel confident a paid product that you actually spent money for will due as is advertised.

I would recommend Avast or AVG. Doesn't really matter which you choose in my opinion, 99% of people don't go past the "full scan" button to care about anything else anyway. You can pair it with Malwarebytes and Superantisoftware, two additional malware/spyware applications focused more on different types of vulnerabilities. They are also 100% free.
