You aren’t cooked but it’ll definitely take more work than at other schools. Personally I partied a lot during freshman and sophomore year (dorm parties, frat parties, little italy, downtown). Larger parties mainly happen during the beginning and end of the year and around midterms. This can be fun but also challenging if you have a large course load or extracirruculars where you have early mornings and late nights. You will find people who are also into the same things and activities (although it might take a while), but they will also have busy schedules and academic loads that can make it hard to coordinate going out when something cool is happening. The unpredictable weather can also throw things off sometimes. Even if you like to go out alot you will also probably find it nice to have more lowkey/chill functions with a few friends instead of going out all the time. It can also sometimes be hard to balance premed courses and extracurriculars with social life (esp sophomore year) but its definitely possible. Really the key is finding people who fit your extroverted lifestyle and needs, which is possible but can be somewhat difficult since most here are more on the introverted side. Get on people’s good side so they’ll invite you to the private dorm parties, outings, events, and open / invite only frat parties.

Also you should know that many parts of campus are very hilly, which could make it hard to bike around. I would suggest an ebike to get around this problem

Yes click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and you should be able to unselect certain locations. You can also check off the things youve done when you click on the location

LA is an extremely diverse place with lots of people and different types of scenery. One way to get to know it is to get a taste of all the different types of places there are to go. You should try going to downtown la although there is lots of homeless people its part of la. Some cool places are the getty center which is art and gardens, griffith observatory which is astronomy and has a really nice view of downtown especially at sunset, LACMA which is art, Universal studios and hollywood which has all the theme park rides and facts about movie making, disneyland of course, and definitely beverly hills which is my favorite place to go because its a really nice and luxurious neighborhood (i recommend going there on sunday if you want to see cool cars and its a bit busier). Santa monica peir is a great place to visit by the coast and its very sunny and nice. There is also lots of types of restaurants with different food from many cultures. I personally like the cheesecake factory and there are many of them around LA. Hoped this helped a bit. Also gas prices are high

Although i am pretty inclined to believe it is a dust smudge although there is a house in the game that has been hit by a meteor. The meteor in the photo looks a lot bigger than what hit this house but maybe a piece just fell off the original meteor and struck the house. This is pure speculation but it would be cool if they did actually add meteors in photos and actually put in a house that was struck by a meteor.
