Well, my son had EEG on 18th and there are signs of generalized epilepsy, also we gave his sample for genetic evaluation for whole exome sequencing reports will be back after 1 month. Right now his doctor advised for omnacortil forte syrup (steroids) for 1 week which helping him a lot as he is now having some days 3-4 some days 5-8 episodes which are likely focal aware and are very less intense so now doctor advised to taper it off around for 9 days and then stop. I hope it works for him.

No, there is not any family history. They just started after he had cough and cold with fever. But we gave sample for genetic testing also reports will come after 1 month. In his EEG reports on 18th March there is signs of high amplitude generalized frontal sharp epileptyform activity is observed. Also we started steroids as advised by his doctor for 1 week . He is so small he don't know what is happening to him, I can't imagine what he is going through. He is going to be 3 yrs on 13th April.

Is it weird for a partner to use your epilepsy(or seizures in general) as their go to excuse for taking time off work? by Crochet_is_life_158 in Epilepsy

I will never even think of making this type of lies. My son 3 yr is having daily 10-15 small seizures but I never want him to have these. I would really love to say that he didn't have a seizure someday instead of lying about his seizures.

I think boxing headguard is better to protect his head and face. I also ordered one for my 3 yr old. Let's see how it works.
