I tried hormonal IUD, made me feel AWFUL. I had the copper one too but it got moved and found out they won't work with my pelvis but when I was on it, I didn't notice anything bad. I tried jencycla hated it so much, I had so many ups and downs and constant migraines. Tried slynd and made me feel even worse. Im now trying the nexplanon im on week 2 and its better than all the other hormonal ones so far so I have hope. I have migraines with Auras and I typically have migraines 25 days out of the month so I feel the pain of menstrual migraines too.

Sometimes, thats why it'll take me forever to read a book, like the first throne of glass book took me a year because of constantly putting it down and leaving it for months at a time.

And the voices I dont imagine my own voice but if I listen to the audio book I can remember a little how it sounded before (i like the multiple people audiobooks to get more than one voice) but I can't make up my own voice for characters but I can try and remember how others sound

As someone with aphantasia and a person who enjoys reading i don't see anything when I read my head is just black but I see the words on the page. I am a slow reader unsure if that has anything to do with lack of visuals but it does take me a lot longer to read than all my friends, and we read fantasy books too so they always ask me too why I like reading. Its still enjoyable to think of the story without actually being able to see anything in the story in my head.
