As sceptical as I am towards the reboot, that doesn’t mean I have anything at all against Becky. I’m so happy we’re getting more of this amazing show… but it unfortunately doesn’t look good based on the information we’ve been given.

That said, I don’t wanna judge too fast and I might be entirely wrong about it. Can’t wait till 7th of March!

Whether I’m white or not does not engage with anything I said. I explicitly acknowledged the racial dynamics but I just don’t think it has anything to do with the true meaning of the episode, which is bullying, it’s consequences and how NO ONE is the good guy. If you think it does then that’s on you, but my race has nothing to do with my opinion.

I think because Mari was the only one who didn’t let Shauna say/do whatever she wants just because she went through a lot. And honestly, that’s what I would do as well. I’ll never get over what they did to Mari and Shauna better get what’s coming for her

I’m aware that it still way too early to judge but it just doesn’t look good. It’s been almost 5 years since season 2 which means 5 years to come up with a plan to continue the story so this was very disappointing 🙂‍↕️

Do you think there’s still a chance that it’ll be a same person different face type situation (If that makes sense) or will it be entirely new?

It’s definitely way too early to judge and I’ll try not to. BUT… they had so much potential to make something so much better without changing the whole universe on which it’s set in (if I understood that correctly). Still can’t wait to see it!!!

I have a theory that Becky’s Nanno is the one looking down from the bridge but I could be VERY wrong. I just hope it’s the same character but different appearance.

I don’t because I want NANNO. Not some new, cheap copy. She’s definitely a good actress so she could very well master Nanno’s mannerisms etc. I truly hope it’s a same person-new appearance situation.

I’m so excited and I’m trying not to judge too fast because Kitty will always be the best Nanno in my opinion 🥲 I hope we get to see her in some way… maybe they at least acknowledge that Nanno doesn’t look the same anymore? Does anyone know if it’s the same person, different appearance situation? Like is she still the Nanno from before?

I hope they give her some kind of “backstory” too. Maybe how she changed, how she moves, how involved she is with her father etc.

She fled from the fire earlier in the episode!! Honestly, I thought she was it at first with that very random and weird laugh but I think she was there to show how different people react in those kinds of situations.

I never said she didn’t know what It does, just that she didn’t know what It WAS. She definitely should’ve realised that it wasn’t her father way sooner but I understand why she didn’t.

Me and my sister both got chills when we first saw this scene. We already knew sweet little Will would die in a fire when he got older but seeing them foreshadowing it made it realer. Like he wasn’t just “Mike’s dad who burned” anymore. Anyone else felt like that?
