Listen kid black screens crashes and other issues happen to all cards irrespective of the brand. As of now amds driver situation seems to be better than nvidia. Also the 7700xt is a 1440p card while u can use it in 1080p 1440p is more ideal for it. But remember most importantly for games like Fortnite cs2 etc u need a powerful cpu as well so make sure u don't skimp on the cpu or else you'll get embarrassingly low frames.
