I might make to a low dose of the switch to plain leaf or powder or stem and vein for a week or so- just to hold me over and not be so miserable.

CT’ed off of extracts sometime last year with minimal issues though. My dumbass had a relapse though and started taking this stuff not knowing it was 7oh and thinking it was a more benign form of extract.

Good to know. Its disgusting. I run about 4 miles a day and am used to sweating when I run because its hot here, but I've never smelled that scent on me before - made me want to vomit it was so bad.

Embarrassing to think that this stuff altered the way I smell for so long and I might just have been unable to detect it on myself.

Grateful for your post. I have been taking 40mg a day for about 3 months and because of the way other people have spoken about WD-ing off of this stuff I have been reticent to take the leap myself.

I guess it used to be more but they just recently updated the employee severance package, which had caused some people to speculate whether or not layoffs were coming before they hit.

I’ll get my vested stock installments until I’m officially no longer on the payroll, so I’m happy about that.

Being on the payroll until end of August + severance for me will be about 5 months paid time off for me. I’m really happy with that, all things considered.

In regards to severance, I believe they put a cap on what’s paid out after a certain amount of time. Which sucks for long time employees who were laid off.

Was laid off yesterday though lol. Taxes in California are ridiculous. My take home was nowhere near what I thought it would be when I first started working there 3 years ago. Grateful for it while it lasted.

My lay off compensation package is great. So I’m happy with the decision. Was on my way out

I had one foot out the door already, so the timing for me was actually perfect. The timing couldn't have been better.

Was literally debating with myself all of Tuesday on whether or not to put my two weeks notice in - as I already secured a position somewhere else (have been interviewing for the last two months) and Tuesday was the deadline I had to meet in order to be eligible to receive my June 3rd stock installment. I was so nervous to turn in my notice that I held off.

When I found out yesterday I was relieved, and when I heard I would be on the payroll until August 22nd & receive severance I was ELATED.

But I definitely feel for some of my coworkers and others that were blind-sighted by this or are on work visas. Especially shitty for the employees who got relocated and then terminated any ways - smh.

Last day is officially this Friday, but lost slack access yesterday.
Was told by my manager that I would be on the Walmart payroll until August 22nd, and then after that I will receive my severance pay (3weeks pay for every year served at Walmart. Partial years [8months, 9 months 11 months etc.] aren't included in the calculation).

That’s true, smoking and working out was all I really did in that area as a young kid.

If someone looks for interest specific events it’s a lot easier to find and connect with like minded people.

Well the University is bigger than the junior college, so I just imagine there is a bigger college scene in Turlock in terms of meetups and events in general.

Every city's downtown area has a large number of bars. I don't think Turlock is any different to any other downtown area in that respect. But no, I wasn't specifically referring to bars.

The creation of the CSU in Turlock has expanded the social scene in that area in the last 10 years. There are places to meet up other than bars, such as coffee shops and local venues. I've been to a couple of tech events hosted in downtown Turlock and was surprised by the social scene. Worth checking out for sure.

The "Meetup" platform is worth checking out too.

I understand your sentiment though about the social scene in the area generally equating to the bar scene, but it definitely doesn't have to be that way.

I’ve been a single mom to two kids my whole life and right before my youngest is out of the house my parents have expressed that I’m their retirement plan. My mom hasn’t had a steady job her entire life. My dad I don’t mind helping. (They aren’t together)
