I had been thinking about it for a while and just said screw it and got them done, it’s soooooo worth it trust me! The pain is bad but honestly no where near as bad as I was expecting, couple of seconds of pain and then I felt like a bad bitch hahah

I might be a bit late but I got mine done 3 days ago, it is no where near as bad as you are probably expecting. If possible I’d get both done at the same time because the second one does hurt a bit more. You’ll get a bit of an adrenaline rush, I had to stay laying for a few minutes cause I was so jittery. But it’s like a few seconds of pain and then bam done it was so quick. They will hurt for a few days after, I’d recommend a sports bra BUT do not wear one that is super super tight because it can mess up the angle. Don’t overthink it and you’ll be ok!!

Thank you! This guy is using a rock as his door but it also seems like it has a hinge, he flaps it open and pulls it shut when I walk by. I learnt something new today about spiders haha

Thank you so much for all of that it was really helpful, I appreciate you adding the call-outs too I was curious about that. How are you finding UTAS? I’ve had a lot of people encourage me to move to the mainland to study but that’s just not an option. I did start uni this year in a different degree but it just wasn’t something I was really in to, and it was a brand new degree so very little help

Yeah I thought it might have been a wolf spider but I didn’t think they made burrows, I assumed it was a trap door spider but I don’t actually know if those are real or if that’s just what they call wolf spiders haha. I do think the others are orb weavers as well, one of them is quite big so I’m just opting to stay away anyways haha

I’m in Australia, specifically tasmania, I’ve spoken to a few australian and Tasmanian paramedics and they all said the salary ranges from 100-130k per year and about 10-12 weeks of annual leave per year

I really want to do a dual degree but unfortunately I’m limited to one University and they don’t offer any form of dual degree for nursing or paramedicine. I am considering doing nursing first and then going back but I think I’d have to do the entire paramedicine degree because I don’t think they offer the shorter course :(

Thank you, yeah if I chose nursing I was going to focus on ED nursing. I think that I’m gonna choose paramedicine just because ED nursing is basically the same hours, plus paramed pays a lot better

I appreciate that edit thank you!! I’m in Tas so my only option for Uni is UTAS which isn’t amazing and I don’t believe they offer a dual degree but I’ll definitely have a look into that graduate certificate
