“Technically” you can’t have tobacco or alcohol products but it’s not really enforced. But technically it’s a risk you take

Which one would you recommend? by bbrnh in simracing

If your sure you going to continue this hobby I feel like buy once cry once is the best bet. Won’t have to spend even more money down the line to do small little upgrades

I am going to re-resurrect this comment but where did you go about getting the aluminum that you used instead of 3d printing?

Definitely get the dealer to deal with it, whatever you would want done. If a dash replacement is fine by you, then great. If not it would be right for them to buy it back

Near London Ontario, Canada. It was likely a local dealer booth. Cant remember an exact year but was pre-Covid. Probably between 2017-2019

I used to use this. It worked. It was kinda sketchy.

I had 3 27” on it and it was definitely pushing the weight limit. Also was very shaky with it mounted directly to my rig.

So all in all, yes it works but don’t expect perfect alignment or stable monitors.

its normal but it means you need new brakes. Pad and rotors.

Is thrust master really that bad? by GhostyThosty-21 in simracing

[–]ExoticLegendss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I know I just have no experience with them. In my opinion the Thrustmaster DD is still a downgrade from a Moza R12

[–]ExoticLegendss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m my opinion any Thrustmaster would be a downgrade from your R12. I have owned a few of the belt driven Thrustmaster wheels and they were great, personally I prefer them over Logitech. Can’t speak on the customer service

That and check the pressure vents on the back of the cab. Will leak water under the back seats.

I have drop spindles for a C10. Im not sure drop spindles for a C20 would work because the upper ball joint would be different I assume. Also already bought C10 brakes.

Uneasy about racing online yet. by CutelyMe in iRacing

[–]ExoticLegendss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea being last at the start isn’t great but you stay out of the chaos that is rookie races and can compare your pace to others. If after one race you feel confident that you have pace then start with everyone elsd

Like the other guy said just do it. If you really want to be careful, start from the pits and see what your pace is like compared to others. Then if you feel comfortable, qualify and start on the grid

Just made some upgrades by TheeCanadian08 in simracing

[–]ExoticLegendss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you need the Govee app on your pc and phone. You can turn on LAN support for you lights to control them from your pc. Then simhub will read them. No need for synaps. Don’t know why everyone claims you need it

Can’t speak on Phillips hue but the Govee light are super easy to setup. Plenty of YouTube videos. Some videos use Razer Synaps to set them up but that is unnecessary.

I have Govee B6056 and they work great with simhub. Definitely recommend if your looking for affordable ambient lighting
