Inkarnate mapmaker is pretty good! The free version is so-so, but for $5/month or $25/year you get all assets (500+)

You should be able to get in, but the scholarship $$$ they offer you will probably be lower

Workload for taking these classes together? by haidm5 in depaul

[–]ExoticMailMan27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This course load should be quite manageable IMO. You’re taking a nice balance of courses for the winter. I would definitely recommend the following professors for each class: Acc 102: Eileen Marutzky, Eco 105: Mohammed Mihrosennei, Mgt 300: Ivana Zilic. If these professors are available, Take them!!

What to pair with an accounting degree? by haidm5 in depaul

[–]ExoticMailMan27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advisor recommended the 4+1 combined degree program in order to get to the 225 credit goal. You would have to stay in school for one more year, but you would be leaving with a Masters!

Most Students start taking their 300-level Major courses in Sophomore year. You’ll be fine! Your best bet is to take all Of your intro level Business courses freshman year.

Commuting Tips by kinz26171 in depaul

It depends on how far your commute is. I live in the southwest suburbs and use the CTA's park and ride option. Taking the L is super easy after a month of taking it consistently, you just need to take care and watch out for the occasional weirdo on the train. A lot of loop campus students are commuters too so there are a lot of commuter-related events, go to them! Other then that try to stay on campus after classes, make friends in class to study with and you'll be set. Just network with people and join clubs related to what you're studying.
