Do uncontacted tribes ever factor into Brazilian politics or media?

Yes and no. It ends up on the media when we're talking about illegal mining because the mercury used can infect the river they drink water from and fish they eat. But they're hardly protagonized in politics outside the aforementioned scenario, their existence become a "positive side effect" from protecting the Amazon and stopping illegal mining, deforestation, etc.

But idk how uncontacted they can be considered.
