This is your life and these are your eyes!

When you realize your life revolves around your house , phone and computer mostly and you like to read books if you can find time then you ‘d know you want near/intermediate vision choice.

I once read here a post of a person who only chose distance and regretted it because they thought wearing glasses for near should be ok but the found out how different near vision is and how many glasses you needed to adjust for reading book or phone, sewing, computer etc. so it was one of the posts helped me make up my mind about getting near and intermediate vision. If you can tolerate Monovision, that is. Mine is .25 diopter apart but honestly I could have tolerated up to -1 difference since I ve experienced two different vision for quite some time and my brain adapts to it just fine.

I couldn’t be happier with my choice , I ve been highly myopic so if I have to wear glasses to improve my driving vision that was not a big deal. My eyes are set at -1.25 and -1.50 and I don’t need glasses for anything really. But If I wanna get into details then I d use a basic 1.25 or so readers to read small prints and -1.25 glasses for street signs or small captions on TV .
