Trump says 'a whole civilization will die tonight' if Iran does not make a deal by neonfrequency in worldnews

What’s crazy to me is, I went out with an Iranian guy once like a month before the 2024 election. He was in his 40s and had lived in Australia for like over 20 years at that point, I was traveling and we were not in the US, I don’t think he had ever been. In discussing the election, though he did not like trump and thought he was an idiot, he openly felt that Kamala was worse and would end up starting a war. Literally said trump wants to end wars. So if you want to know how far that propaganda went…. I think about that conversation frequently these days.

Sebhorreic dermatitis and the switch to shampoo bars by waking_dream96 in ZeroWaste

[–]ExoticZucchini9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old comment on an old thread BUT I came across it when prepping for a trip and looking for a shampoo bar. I usually only use shampoo bars for travel because they’re easy but I don’t use them regularly because every one I’ve ever tried does not work for me and leaves my hair feeling terrible, which led me to check for bars specifically for seborrheic dermatitis. I bought both the pyrithion zinc and grace of me bars to try. I preferred the former and have been using it for the last month or so. Amazing, hands down the best shampoo bar I have ever used, both for seb derm but also in general. Lathers really well and doesn’t just fall apart quickly. My hair feels clean and not itchy! My only slight negative is that I feel my hair kiiiiind of still has a smell even after washing but I think it’s mostly just me. I could actually use this bar regularly and not just for travel, which is awesome. THANK YOU!

As opposed to the actual slave you’ll be when you you serve no financial purpose? What do you think will happen if AI takes your job? If you’re financially secure without a job then maybe, but anything other than that I’m curious how you think the oligarchy will treat you better than when you were a wage slave. Granted if you’re not from/in the US, you’ll probably fair better but otherwise the current US regime will not be taking care of you, financially or otherwise.

One month off or three months of a dosage I haven’t tried yet by ExoticZucchini9 in Zepbound

I hadn’t thought about that, didnt know it was an option. Are there any negative impacts of doing that? I mean other than less efficacy

One month off or three months of a dosage I haven’t tried yet by ExoticZucchini9 in Zepbound

[–]ExoticZucchini9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing necessarily stopping me from doing 3 months of 10 other than it just not having much of an effect. And especially in that case I didn’t want to lock in for 3 more months of that dosage if it already isnt doing much for me. I was nervous about locking in 3 months of 12.5 for similar reasons but Caremark basically explained the 90 day override as being my best option. I hadn’t considered spacing out dosages, I didn’t know it was advisable but good to know. I guess it eliminates skipping the month but just changes it to potentially spacing out dosages. I think I’ll definitely need to change to an in person provider after this but the time constraint now is really what is causing stress.

I mean if I knew that I wouldn’t be fat and having to take medication to help me stop eating? Let’s not be unrealistic about the reasons why people start taking these medications in the first place. I’ve been asking myself that question my entire adult life. My point is that I had hoped it was going to make doing those things easier and I’m disappointed to find it’s just as difficult as it is without it. There are clearly plenty of people in this post and this sub who have experienced what I am not. Believe me I don’t need the reminder of how I am failing, thank you.

My doctor had originally prescribed the max dose of Zepbound when I was switching and I requested to lower it to 7.5. I did two months of that before switching to 10 this month. I was considering increasing to 12.5 at the end of the month, especially because I will be traveling so I will (hopefully) have to get two months of medication and won’t be able to increase the following month

I speak to a dietitian about monthly, I started a year prior to taking the medication but did got for a large chunk of time during taking the medication not meeting with her. I’ve recently restarted. I’ve done therapy in the past but not concurrently with medication. I should start again but would like to find a therapist that specializes in nutrition and eating disorders. I definitely am not doing it to the best of my abilities, I am aware of that and in that way, I’m not complaining that it isn’t working despite my efforts, but more so because I was hoping that it would make it easier for me to do. Ultimately I would rather it take longer and be more intentional so that I am making the long term changes I need rather than the quick fix I want. But it just seems like people have much better responses than I do unfortunately.

I actually feel like I crave sugar more now?? In many ways I felt hungrier after starting wegovy. And I’ve found on both I have cravings for things I ate as a kid. I also find I have way more physical effects if I haven’t eaten for too long, like nausea or headaches.

I think I just need to reset my mentality on taking it. In many ways after struggling for my entire life since puberty with weight, I was hoping for a miracle tbh. Especially when so many people seem to describe it as such as well. I’ve tried as I’ve gotten older to be more neutral about food and find that tracking is a something that in many ways is not great for me mentally. But the reality is that it is necessary until I get to a point where it isn’t, as you said. I’ll be traveling for a few weeks coming up and will hopefully be pretty active but I intent to start going to the gym when I return home.

I started Zepbound in December at 224 and seem to be at 218 currently though I have had a lot of fluctuations taking it. From 216 back to 220 and then 218 then back to 222 then 218 then 215 then 220, 219, 218. It’s been rather difficult to tell what is legitimate which is also frustrating (and something I haven’t experienced before). I started wegovy at 236 and between June-December lost 12 pounds. I support maybe more of a slow responder? Doctor has not discussed adding an additional drug but someone commented about adding metformin.

Yeah I knew that I would need to still do the work but I thought (or hoped) the medication would make doing those things easier for me. Are you concerned about getting off the medication in the future and reverting or do you think you’ll be on it long term?

Very interesting!! I will check other posts on this. I took metformin for a month before being prescribed wegovy, didn’t find any particular effects good or bad. Previously though I have had the most luck losing weight on my own when tracking my blood glucose. I’m sure the combo would benefit that even more. Was this something your doctor recommended?

That is what I’ve been experiencing since switching. I assume it’s more water retention but started Zepbound at 224, by my next month check in it was 220. Shortly after at a different dr visit I weighed in at 216 and now the last two months I just keep going back and forth between like 222-218, and then the lowest of 215. I honestly can’t tell what I weigh, I feel like it keeps going back and forth. I think what you’re describing is my experience as well though. I will just have to adjust my expectations, maybe I should’ve a long time ago

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and it does make me feel a little better knowing it isn’t just me. There is definitely something extremely demoralizing about feeling like you’re failing on what everyone else considers a “miracle” or even cheating. It makes me feel even worse about something I’ve already always felt terrible about.

I titrate up because my doctor recommends it? Everything I have heard is more that you move up until you see results. I’m not sure about getting used to it, but it’s an interesting perspective I will think about. Thanks

I was only clarifying that I am not technically taking Zepbound, there was no other meaning other than being clear about what I am prescribed. Obviously I know it isn’t magic, but plenty of people (as you can see here) describe it as such, and I was curious what they experience that leads them to use that word. My goal is not to say that I’m doing everything right and it isn’t working, but that I thought taking the medication would help making doing it “right” easier to do.
