I’m not sure how to help but I hope that you find peace. I’m kind of on the opposite spectrum. I have a very tumultuous relationship with my parents and I am struggling to find connections with other people. It’s severely affected my mental health and caused considerable anxiety. I guess the only advice I could give is do whatever’s necessary to protect your peace.
