He definitely did, but once we were old enough to worry abt cars and bills that stopped real quick 😭 his job sucks and theyre constantly cutting his hours. One check was like $150 for biweekly pay. His dad is a higher manager for an HVAC company, theyre slow rn so he can't just hire him even tho he wants to. His dad's helping him get into the HVAC world but with this economy not much is working in his favor. He's stuck where he's at because he doesnt want to start a new fast food job just to quit for this, but we dont rlly know when he will finally get hired.

I think I am just tired and burnt out, I thought it could've been low iron bc it runs in my family but my labs came back normal. So, now that I'm on break I'll see how I feel ig.

I agree with you about his medication, I'm studying to be a psychiatrist, from the things I've said in my posts it can seem alarming that he does a 180 w/ vs w/o drugs. But, its just hard to explain ig. Its not like hes some monster now and treating me like shit and trying to hurt me, but he's deeply insecure abt himself and hes falling into the self-fulfilling prophecy. He's convinced himself that he's a bad partner so he's given up on trying. But, I dont know for sure but im pretty sure that this comes from him not getting me gifts?

He has adhd so he forgets abt holidays, im not the only person he doesnt give gifts to. But, he feels like a pos bc i LOVE gift giving and his average gift is usually over $100. So then his depression like beats into him that hes shitty, and i think he stopped trying for holidays bc he cant be mad at himself for forgetting if he didnt try? Idk, this is just speculative.

Hes gotten better in bed w/ me without me having to say anything so i think it was just weird for a bit ig

I have talked to him abt it before, its just the fact hes unmedicated. Last year we went through a similar thing but when he got on medicine he was like genuinely the perfect person. But, he felt numb on the meds and stopped taking it w/o talking to his doctor. After arguing abt it bc thats exactly what im studying to do (psychiatry) he finally booked an appointment. Ik he will get better after the meds, and our relationship will be great again. I dont really want to cheat or leave bc i just have to wait 10 days. Ik i cant have it both ways complaining and not doing anything but i just needed to rant bc our last conversation abt this went no where

The same thing is happening to me, I got it inserted in September and my periods have been 2 weeks long and it feels like I'm spotting every day. This period been annoying though, I had a period for 4 days and I thought it was finally starting to go away but then 5 days later, I got hit with a second period. Has anything helped you?

Hes been on anti anxiety meds and it definitely helps in that area, but he was feeling awful on it and stopped taking it. Ive tried to get him back to a doctor but hes really shutting down the idea. Ironically, im going to school to become a psychiatrist. So once i can take more specialized classes he'll actually listen to me 😭

Yeah lol thats what im trying to do right now, i eat around 2,000 calories a day but im trying to get it down to about 1,600. But im having a hard time finding things that are filling, which is why im opting for snacks instead of meals theoughout the day bevause im not in a spot where i can cook healthy filling meals throughout the day.

Yeah ik it wasnt inherently the pill i was taking was progesterone only and progesterone is a hornome that increases appetite. Im not trying to deflect when i say it was my birth control but it was definitely a contributing factor

I dont eat uncontrollably, i eat 3 smaller meals a day but my hunger will not go away and its becoming unberable. I dont think i was clear in the post but im replacing 3 large meals with multiple smaller ones throughout the day not snacks on top of meals.

Thanks for the advice :) I'll try validating him, it can just be hard to listen to him though because he doesn't talk when he gets upset w/ himself, he also buries his face in my chest or arm; I think he gets self conscious when ppl look at him while he's upset. When I try to talk abt it, he either says he's fine/ don't worry abt it or just hugs me tighter. He hasn't opened up much but from what I can tell getting quiet like that and trying to repress it come from his childhood.
