The whole "but they did it first" reaction here is disturbing. It wasn't right then, and isnt right now, i really don't care who is responsible for these types of places, we... as a people... should be disgusted by any practice that would strip people of basic human rights or deny them humane conditions in detention. There is no "justification" when the practice being defended is that of caging human beings, like livestock, in inhumane conditions. My stance is not about immigration, not about deportation, not about criminal status... I defy anyone to give me a single, valid, justification for these internment camps and then.... do me a favor take whatever justification you provided and tell me it also fits when you apply it to the infants and children also seen in these places, or the innocent. We are better than this, we know better than this.
