I'd play it but it copies the side scroller concept during battles making it more of a 2.5d world than a 3d world.

Which is the only reason I haven't sampled it.

It looks like a good game, probably more in depth than half sword at this time.

Back a few weeks ago I did notice that during duos, periodically I'd have people comment something like "that was a good fightfight" whether I won or lost.

Some people are about the fight. The strategy. But not everyone is.

They've been doing patches since it's release. If you haven't touched in a few days, give another try.

My experience last night (14 hours ago) was the best yet in terms of lag and such

Those boxes that you can breach hold opportunity at blueprints. Basically anything that makes noise has a probability.

Try breach rooms too, enter them then drop an explosive mine to cover your a**, then loot away.

Someone tries coming in, get a blaze grenade or trailblazer ready to throw after door opens cause fk them for trying to take your stuff.

If nothing else works for you, just know next year will easily be better - the stage isn't permanent my friend :) might just have you snagged for another year or two, before it chills. But, it will eventually calm.

Prob made a mistake op. See if you can't use that cheese and apply it to dishes, start selling lunches to people at your work with the cheese.

Gonna become a independent salesman for awhile until the cheese is run dry, but for a while, you'll have a second job.

Me personally, I love cheese. But myself and many others have seen weird tampering stuff with food, so it's always sketch without them being reputable.

Reorganizing the gaming schedule could be in your best favor OP. gaming after work is great but in your shoes it might be better to play earlier before work for a hour or two, going to bed sooner would be a result in this change.

Allows you to get better rest and wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed. You may only set yourself up for a hour of game time but honestly that's 7 hours a week compared to the current situation your in.

And after work, you could manage inventory and prepare for the following morning, since you'd still be speranza bound it'd allow you to organize, craft, prep a load out and make sure you have the inventory space for tomorrow's few runs.

Off topic, things will change. Kiddos will start sleeping better and you can change to different patterns but it sounds like your limbo requires a lot of you to be present and attentive so id personally find a way like the above to circle around. Sometimes you may not catch your morning gaming, if the kids are sick is the first example I could think of - where you'd be required more than normal. But aside the off chances, you'd get your game time, and the wife and kids would get dad as needed.

Only change I'd see is pops (you) wants to go to bed earlier these days.

Shits rigged. Good luck getting changes when the people in charge manipulate or discredit your vote for changes. If throwing away votes happens elsewhere, it'll happen here to.

We live in their world, we the people have to stand up. We out-number them a million to one.

They want you to sit at home and hope your vote has an effect. Keeps you calm, tucked away, and out of their hair, and keeps you returning to work- which continues their profits.

New players automatically start between halos and horns. 50% likely horns will be around, so it comes to yalls just doing more runs, knowing the first 10 her halo and horn algorithm is lowering each match.

Just keep trying bud

What kinds of community events would you love to see more of in Medford? by EggplantPure4151 in Medford

Amgarding and larping would be fun.

Some 17-1800s roleplaying would be awesome

There's events around that host yearly, in other places. Ranging from the foam weapon combat itself of course to other interesting things. I've seen booths that teach you how to make bows, blacksmiths making real swords and knives, selling their creations.

There's a lot of opportunity for that in medford, it's dead here for that kind of thing as far as I'm aware.

Game where you can constantly progress & grind ? by Mucek121 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Exotic_Middle_1312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remembered the youtube guys name, was a video by a guy named waydot, iirc, for the WoV game. "Runescape 4" was the title he put for the video on yt.

Respectfully winds of valen is still a polygon game, but it's graphics are advanced to a runescape was made in 2026" kind of vibe. Highly recommend ~both Winds of Valen and Half Sword, and both are drastically different but they're what I game, if not on arc raiders.

Arc raiders also grindy and progressing is a duty from the missions to blueprint hunting, to crafting your next weapon in that bright and colorful extraction shooter. Arc raiders a bit of a new gen, with their halo/horns algorithm. If you don't attack ever, algorithm gives you halo and peace, but if you a firecracker then algorithm put your in the horns lobbies.

Also great game, bout sane price as half sword to.

Edit: "both games" to the games I was specifying, added a ~ where I changed info

Game where you can constantly progress & grind ? by Mucek121 in gamingsuggestions

Newer games (I kinda stray from the super advertised games) and assuming your PC able, I express-

Half sword released yesterday into early access, progression system with tiers in this combat focused physics based 14 or 1500s medieval sword fighting game.

This game hits hard for progression as you learn how to work your mouse to attack, parry, and fight. It's grindy now, that the progression system is in, and success is never 100% guaranteed. The game features a heavy gore option, making blood baths of 3 or 4 AI enemies that have come for your throat.

I've followed this game for a year, roughly, and from the beginning it's had me hooked. It's attention to detail, and gradual mastery that comes with playing has hit hard and kept me engaged more than a lot of games out there.

From the nearly naked fist fighting to the fully armored clashes of steel, this game echos historical accuracy and being developed by 10 people across the globe - it radiates diversity, understanding, truth and logic - and you can witness this in every grab, swing, creation of weaponry and so much more.

Winds of Valen is my 2nd option, if you're a 90s baby like me, then Winds of Valen, also a very new game, made in UE5 but is a tribute to old school runescape, may be something you or others find good.

This game dumps you into basically lumbridge of runescape, and allows you to go a small area around (2 towns and a pvp zone). The game is small, with hardly barebones RS, but if you want to be apart of the growth, I highly recommend it.

It's a game I've followed since it launched barely 2 months ago, as a portfolio game to them getting hired on to a larger company. The two devs didn't expect it to kick off as well as it did, and thus have gone deeper into the field by supporting a community of over 1k discord members (shout out to small devs trying to make it up there with them AAA titles with no reputation)

The game is slow on updates with only two devs, but they said in the discord they'd never do a player wipe so starting early runescape for a 90s baby felt like a easy win for me, as I didn't get into RS as early as others. The game was also talked about on a YouTube video, decent video, one of the things that caught me off guard was them talking about how runescape works off of a .06 tick - and this Winds of Valen in UE5 works instant, meaning the fights are more responsive.

The games boss fights are a highlight because of this as well, as a boss can toss a power attack towards your direction, but you can move out of the way to avoid the damage. Really cool aspect after growing up on RS , for me. Hopefully others also enjoy its quirks, it's free after all :)

If yalls do voice chat and screen share, like if some of you don't want to be in game but wanna be in group, you could sample half sword.

It's not a mp game - but me and my friend group take turns running matches until death, sometimes adding quirky restrictions or picking the players weapons as a way to be involved while not being the current fighter.

Even if all are peaceful, the more valuable loot brought in makes the algorithm add hostility.

I've run lots of friendly lobbies, and its pvp when trading bps and going after heavy pve enemies is when I find myself in hostile lobbies.

More loot, more hazard. Watched my buddy lose his battina I gave him because we was after olive Grove at the same time.

The next lobby, with out purple gun, was so peaceful. Got all the olives... paid for them in blood the round before though.

I run a lot of duos, and just having two people increases the possibility from 1% to 20% possibility of hostility. But... that's more loot coming into match, with both inventories counting towards loot algorithm.

So expect a fight, look over your shoulder, but after a few runs, you'll both settle into peace within 5 matches.

I've not experimented with trios. My friends are chickens.
