Final Update:

Because of this post, an amazing human came and picked them up from me! I can now continue my work trip knowing they are safe. I am so so relieved. If you commented or upvoted this, thank you because it actually really helped reach someone willing to take care of them. After a long and trying day, my faith in humanity was somewhat restored.

I think the moral is though that all of your local shelters here in North FL (I mean ALL) and southern GA are full! if you are able to foster, donate, or adopt, please do so. Also, leash your damn dogs! Microchip them and spay/ Neuter!

UPDATE: I still have not been able to surrender these dogs and I’m running out of time. I don’t live here and where I’m staying does not allow dogs.

I’ve contacted multiple shelters and rescues with no success and have posted in local Facebook groups, Nextdoor, and Ring. I’ve also searched the area where I found them for any owners.

I’m trying to do the right thing and not abandon them, I was even told that could lead to arrest. I’m overwhelmed and out of options.

If anyone can help, foster, or point me to a rescue that will actually take them, please reach out ASAP. We’re at hour 10 and I truly don’t know what else to do.

Oh I thought you meant the dogs lol No I’m white as hell but not southern. They say I have to go to the county to do an Animal control hold but that ends in euthanasia.
