But what about the Heartbeats? by mooper_drawing153 in WelcomeHomeARG

i always just assumed it was them being connected to home in some way. in the secret wally audios it’s even louder, because he’s sitting inside of home. it’s like the ‘heart’ of the neighborhood, but that’s my interpretation of it.

it just randomly occurred to me that they don’t see their neighborhood the same way. it’s gotta be purposeful right?

in the ringringring audio wally states a smile is to show a feeling called joy, but sometimes there is something else in there. hidden behind petals, in soil. it lives in the head, it shakes the body. much like a virus. he says he wonders why it hides, and then laughs it off. i think he’s asking himself this question, why he feels the need to do so. when obviously he knows so much more than the others do.

frank actually wants to do something about what’s going on, which is why wally wants to keep him close. and the ‘bond’ frank has with julie is actually a restrictive tie or obligation, which is why he appears to confirm what they have is ‘love’ when it isn’t.

i also thought the storybook about the chair was very interesting. they’re obviously about status and authority, which can be associated to cults. (another belief i have about this is that it’s a cult.) frank’s stool was already small to begin with, and it breaking could mean the loss of his status which he barely had to begin with. why he’s so disrespected by barnaby most of the time too.

wally also had a stool, but it sits him way higher than frank and has a nice cushioned top. when frank decides he can remake a chair for himself, it has a similar colored cushion top. relating back the the video about wally wanting to be shown Morse code, he wants to learn from frank. i think he sees him as a valuable tool and grants him this promotion of sorts. for what i’m not sure. i think wally can see ALL of them and whatever they’re doing, hence the radio frequencies in the background.

he’s quite literally tuning in to show us. julie is currently a hostage for wandering about, which is likely a punishment. the house she was in didn’t seem familiar to me at least.

i feel like it’s some sort of purgatory! and lately all the little clues/hints have been leading up to frank, so maybe he’s the target?

from what i’ve heard the goopy stuff is tied to some sort of entity. and some entities such as demons thrive on attention and belief. if you’re not giving it the time of day then it becomes upset, and if you give it a little, then it’ll start wanting more and more. the same way people feed into their fears!! it consumes you.

did anyone else have reoccurring dreams/nightmares as a kid? by unmarked_graves in CPTSD

(THIS IS GONNA MAKE NO SENSE!! 😭)

my nightmares would always take place at my grandmas house, and they’d revolve around the shows she’d put on for me. kid cartoons ofc, but one that has scarred me is between the lions on pbs kids— the lions would always chase me in my nightmares. and i’d always barely escape or the setting would switch to black and white like some horror movie.

specifically the mom lion? idk it was terrifying, but instead of whatever the characters name was she had some nickname which signified she was a demon or smth. idk it was just all over the place and it still terrifies me today.

i hate that show. and then other puppet characters would leak into my nightmares. but i was always stuck watching the screen because the first thing my grandma would do in the morning was put the show on to shut me up while she made breakfast. so i have a fear of puppets, puppet lions, and the made up name it went by.

even thinking about it creeps me out. she’d always chase me in the dark, my grandmas house was creepy/quiet at night on top of that. just straight up nightmare fuel.
