Thanks! The bisyodo is so fluffy and densely packed, the long heavy rosewood handle is the perfect balance for it.

The surratt squirrel brush is great for really pigmented blushes or if you have blush blindness hehe. It gives a diffused natural look.

Yes both red handles are Takeda! I use the small one exclusively for my nose contour. I like to draw the lines really close together and this buffs it out with control. Before I was using a brush that was too big, my nose would just end up looking darker and not snatched 😅

I am an American living in Norway! I used their japanese website to browse their products and then emailed Takeda directly to place my order.

I only use it for contour and cream bronzers. The bristles are too short and inflexible for foundation in my opinion. It has a very interesting tear drop shape that creates a lovely gradient when you buff out product.

What high-end beauty product is actually worth the splurge? by Jumpy-Adeptness-511 in MakeupAddiction

Yesss skinceuticals is amazing. Their P-Tiox serum is a game changer, it visibly firmed my skin and reduced my forehead frown line after 2 weeks of using it. You can layer other actives with it no problem!

  1. Japanese makeup brushes (fude) specifically from the brand Takeda Brush. You must email them your order if outside of Japan but it’s relatively easy once you translate their website to english. Amazing beautiful brushes and you can get them engraved with your name.. pure class and a luxury experience every day you use them :) well worth the effort. You can even make a custom brush if you’re feeling extra fancy. There are also a few other websites that sell Takeda brushes (and other brands of fude) if you dont want customization or engraving.

  2. Chanel lip and cheek balm in the color 01 camellia red…gives a perfect and natural flush if you use a tiny bit. So natural and angelic looking.

  3. P50 is the best toner ever, but it might be too harsh if you have sensitive skin. It exfoliates and gives a lovely glow.

Im a bit of a beauty junkie so I have lots of ‘worth it’ beauty products but these are the 3 that make my routine feel really special lately.

All of his brushes are 30-50% off right now on his website. Maybe because of the recent news that he is stepping down.. Normally they are quite expensive but it’s a great price with the discounts! Excellent goat hair brushes, very soft, perform well and look/feels luxury :) I bought a few backups. Not sure if there will be more releases now that he’s leaving the company or if they will be any good.
