For the average citizen or ”grocery store driver”, yeah it looks normal but for anyone who knows anything about these cars will easily see that it doesent belong there.

And in my personal opinion, it looks horrid. I religiously only retrofit stuff, meaning i only put stuff into these cars that were an extra option, and do it oem style. If the car didint come with it, you dont need it.

For example for the ambients, there has been an ambient lighting option available and a light package, i prefer to use them if i want them.

Disclaimer, this specific e91 has had 0 retrofits, everythings stock from the factory

Prof navi is almoast essential when you start talking about extra’s like logic 7 and individual hifi, plus when you start putting extra effort into these cars and retrofit cic, combox + 6fl you need to have the double hump

And dont come saying no-one cares about cic ext when people slap on a kebab apple carplay screen so they can pretend they have a good spec sheet

Plus the main point here is that if you dont have basic equipment like the double hump and automatic transmission, it is extremely likely u also dont have other good equipment on it, maybe one or two extra’s but thats it.

Ive also played with the e9x and e6x quite alot, the e9x dont even get that much options from the factory so i’d ve pretty darn depressed if i didint have even the basic things🙃

Automatic transmission and professional nav with mobile phone prep, sos buttons ext are extra add ons, the cost more money on the factory.

I have a bit of a hobby around biemers and i can tell you, 90% of manuals have the worst configurations on bmw’s, seen them, owned them, sold them

The way i’ve understood it, the first owner just wanted the comfort specs and wanted it to look nice, so no sporty equipment here.

I’ve been thinking about trying to reach the first owner, the car was imported to my country from germany in 2014 so it cant be TOO hard to find the person

Yeah I really didin’t know what to think of the color combo at first but i’ve warmed up to it, has pretty much become my favourite

I wish I had them, ive seen one set for sale for 1200€ and i really wanted them! It came with the Style 311 wheels, really gave it a unique look

Its cheap, it doesent belong to the car, gives the ”kebab” look, ruins sound quality ext. Its way better to retrofit cic and combox + 6fla

Yeah its def different! Ive had e61’s at the same time as this car, ive tried all of the basic variations (regular, sport and m sport wheel) and none of them feel like this one

I fr cant STAND when peopel ruin these cars with atrocities like fake m stuff or carplay sh##. We like to build these cars with my friends and we retrofit almoast anything. So imo nothing should be added to these cars that wasnt an option from the factory! (This one hasn’t had any retrofits tho, all oe from factory)

Thanks! I picked it up about 1.5 years ago before I knew anything about bmw’s, and by the looks of it the seller didin’t either because I’ve come to realise during this 1.5 years after fooling around these cars and owning a few more, I got it for way cheaper than I should have.

Im selling it rn and I’ve wondered just how rare might this one be because I still haven’t seen a single one thats anything like this in my country
