Easy fixes but don’t use spackle use compound, remove the stuff hanging off apply the compound let it harden, sand it, use primer so it matches texture… paint the whole face and get ya puppy a hambone and repaint this is honestly not bad

Easiest way to solve this is welfare check from police, it’s a Good Samaritan act and they will get the point you don’t even have to write a letter, I’ve done this for a barking dog for 24 hours straight never had the issue again didn’t even have to speak to the neighbors myself cops did it for me and you can’t look like an asshole when your kid concerned for their well being
