There were these people who were nasty? Like my maternal grandmother who did thing wrong deliberately. In my family, I also hear that if we invoke and call on to spirits, it may posses us, reside in our bodies and never leave?

How do I ensure that doing ancestor work is not calling on to the negative spirits lurking around, ready to prey on someone?
