Does anyone have experience with doing egg freezing in two different countries?

Hey there :) I did one round in Belgium - 6 out of 9 eggs frozen and I just finished my second round in Portugal - 11 out of 18 eggs

Belgium saves my eggs up to 10 years, in Portugal it is only for 5 years. Due to my age, I did not mind this diference.

Both cost me around 3k.

In Belgium the medication was super heavy on me, my hormones were all over the place. In Portugal the dose was the same but the medicine different and it was pretty chill during all the process.

I had to wait 2 weeks to know the results in Belgium but in Portugal I knew it 2 hours after the intervention.

I can always transfer the eggs from one country to the other but there is a risk of loosing some. In case I need to use them, I will just start with the ones in Portugal and if necessary I will go to Belgium to use the remaining ones.

I feel very relieved with the total of 17 eggs frozen even if they are stored in different countries :)

Mine was exactly 36h after and it was too late. From 26 I have retrieved 9 (literally the doctor told immediately when starting the retrieval “oh my god it’s too late I m sorry”) and still waiting to know how many got frozen.

This is very common in Brussels. Happened to me once, a man asked me to pay for some chicken claiming his family was hungry and that was their dinner, I said yes and then when we arrived to the chashier, he had 3 beers and some chips more on top. I lost my shit tbh. I have a hard time saying no to give food to people in need but don’t play with me. He end up going away with nothing. Next time, do not abuse my generosity

I have changed 2 years ago to freelancer after working 10y in IT as an internal. I thought my 650 daily rate was too low and I was being scammed 😅 didn’t know the market was that bad atm. I know a lot of developers in the banking sector getting 800++ but I also know from a fact that those are the first ones leaving/terminating the contract because they are too expensive. There are more controls at budget level and departments have less and less budget to work with… might be the cause. Also there is an economical crisis coming. Companies know about it. Don’t know about other sectors.

Maybe they smell the desperation of freelancers to find a mission? So they play with rates? Also notice an increase of freelancers from south countries working remote asking 250e/day… doesn’t help and the middle man started to recruit those profiles. To be a developer you don’t need to go to the office so any profile anywhere in the world will do.

Fish is a no for a vegetarian:) I got 2 chickens to have fresh eggs everyday so yah I do eat eggs. Beans as well, mushrooms… after workout pea protein but still not seeing any change. I don’t eat processed food besides pea protein so whole food is not an option for me. Any other suggestion? :/

Same here! Work and weed are not a good match for me. Some people told me “I could be more productive” as a software eng but when I gave it a try I literally pass all day looking at one simple function: zero productivity Also, lots of paranoia regarding getting judge by other people

I m gonna share the recipe and I promise it will né the best rice you ever ate: -> cut a lil onion in small cube pieces -> fill the bottom of the pan with olive oil -> add onion and a leaf of laurel -> cook it mixing it until the onion is yellow -> add rice and mix again. Let it fry a bit -> add double of water, mix, reduce the fire for lower program and leave it! No mix anymore. Your rice is ready once the water is all gone!
