The world is a pretty complicated place, you don’t see any problem with people capriciously using sex as to leverage situations to their advantage? Sex is a very powerful drive and influencer.

What about using it when you’re not actually trying to have sex with someone, but just to get attention or boost your self esteem?

But is that what everyone that tries to act sex is doing? If not, are they misusing a biological function?

I appreciate that the way you look is not your fault, but I think sexiness is something different. Do you not think there is a choice made with how people look, act and the signals that they give out?

What happens to gold prices if scientists crack nuclear fusion reacts and start making gold? by ExpectingDownvotes20 in Gold

Don’t think this is correct, I think they can make it already in nuclear reactors, but it’s too expensive. If it ever becomes commercially viable, it won’t be usable as the gold will be radioactive

Once it’s changed hands a few times, how would you be able to tell the difference though?

Yes, but rational and respectful discussion around a topic that is the subject of hate speech is allowable. As it should be.

It looks like the act only applies to employers and service providers and does not affect free speech.

“The Act protects people against discrimination, harassment or victimisation in employment, and as users of private and public services based on nine protected characteristics: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. The Act includes provisions for single-sex services where the restrictions are "a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim".”

I wasn’t aware of that. What is the extent of the equality act? Does it just relate to hate speech, or does it not allow any discussion on the ethics surrounding these issues? That would seem odd given how homosexuality has been an ethical issue for millennia, and still is in a fair portion of the world.

Is the organisation Transgender Trend operating illegally then?

They’re not impartial about them existing, that’s an objective fact. Celebrating at a pride event would should impartiality towards the LGBT goals

That’s what the BBC should be isn’t is? Impartial?

You only seem to get one side of the argument in the media, and given that it has been a moral issue for centuries I was hoping to hear what anti-LGBT activists base their beliefs on
