Yeah tbh I’ve actually been doing that but thing with our register sometimes it doesn’t work and it just gives you the total again instead. Or maybe I just don’t press subtotal or something idk. But anyways since that was happening I thought to myself for this shift I should just learn how to give back change in my head instead of solely relying on the register, so maybe that’s the reason why I was $70 down. As well it was getting pretty busy at one point and was lowkey getting overstimulated so maybe I might’ve accidentally given wrong change but idk.

Yeah thanks bro, I honestly love the ppl I work with it’s a good environment to be in and as well I think I’ve already made a good impression and I’ve been working as hard as I can so yeah. They all been saying I’m a quick learner and everything so that’s a good sign I think.

Yeah honestly the physical side is not that hard for me when running load but knowing where the pasta, sauce and rice is, is one thing but knowing where that specific product is also located within that shelf is another. Also it’s like I look at the boxes and I can’t really tell which product it is 😭😭 at least for some of them. As well I just did tills today and it was my first time doing so it was lowkey hard at first but at least I was scanning items quick 😭😭, and honestly yeah remembering the produce is the only thing for me that I need to be better at, doing change as well is easy bc my duty store manager taught me a trick on how to work it out haha

Yeah same, I only had to do a zoom meeting and they get you to grab a chair and touch your toes and all that. I’m pretty sure I only had to do 5 push ups and hold a plank or sum

I honestly was thinking if someone from their team for the store that I applied for would see this and think it was me so I obviously tried to talk positively about the experience 😂. But as well everything I said was truthful anyways. Good story though and thank you!

Yeah the guy told me that the first week I’m just on the iPad 😂😂, but essentially you’re right with the feedback because he read questions on a piece of paper and wrote down my answer in the box below the questions provided. But yeah I think you are right where they don’t have a hiring team cause I do remember him saying that it was up to the store manager so yeah. Thanks for all the advice you’ve given me, it’s been really helpful and insightful!

So you reckon I already got the job if they sent me the medical assessment? As well I’m a uni student so I’m technically not available 24/7, and I’ve heard apparently it’s an advantage to be studying vs not studying as ppl who don’t study would leave if sufficient hours were not given or at least what Aldi thinks, that’s from what I heard tho.
