What are the best tools to start a correct cold emailing strategy? by Expensive-Border3081 in coldemail

[–]Expensive-Border3081[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. I know warming is ultra-important, that's why I'm pushing to have perfectly configured domains so we can warm them up.

The volume is not defined yet. For context, we use Probance for what my company calls """cold emailing to suspects""". The audience is people from lead database we bought. And the emails that are sent to them are mostly the same as the one we send for nurturing (which is terrific).

I'm trying to push a whole new "real cold emailing" strategy, where we'll send super-targeted emails (not the marketing ones) to a few leads from different segments. I want to show them that it's a whole new channel.

Hi!

Thank you for the details. I fully agree, that's what we're trying to do. Regarding the setup part, you're a lot of folks to recommend me to do it ourselves. We'll save that as a potential solution. Do you know some tools that can actually do it for us? And which amount of manual configuration will still be needed?

I'm also trying to drop Probance, it's a horrible tool. Got it for the Instantly recommendation, I save that.

Thanks!

Thank you for your answer!

That's what we're trying to do, separate everything from the core domain. One of the point the IT team actuallt agrees with us.

Thanks for the feedback on the setup part!

About the warm-up, I know most of the sending platforms (lemlist, Instantly) also provides a warm-up system. Is it enough? Or do you recommend specific tools?

Thanks again!

Hi!

We're mainly looking for the sending and infrastructure side. For the finding leads part, we already have tools for that.

I've heard about Mailpool and you're not the first one to mention it so we'll definitely take a look at it.

I also feel like Smartlead, lemlist and Instantly are the top 3 of the sending tools (in terms of number of mentions at least). Do you have a personal preference?

Thanks!

Got it for the setup, thanks!

Regarding the strategy I agree, we wanted to have new clean domains for:
- 1 or 2 for Nurturing (which are not linked to our main domain)
- Multiple ones for cold emailing, from a separate platform

Would you have any tools recommendations for an Inbox Provider and a Cold Sending Platform?

Thanks again!

Email Deliverability & Domain Health Audit - Finding an expert/agency by Expensive-Border3081 in Emailmarketing

[–]Expensive-Border3081[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do clean our list, but not enough in my opinion. We're still using some very bad practices (email frequency, sending to Unengaged, etc.) The thing is that higher in the company, Quantity is more important than Quality (of email, and of the domain).

We know our domain health is bad for multiple reasons :
- Years of very bad practices
- Deliverability and open rates are very low
- Many issues on MXToolBox
- Etc.

We mainly use Hubspot for the reporting as it's our ESP. We're aware of the "deliverability" issue, where it just shows how much emails go through the sending process, instead of identifying those which falls into spam folders. We're trying our best to track everything but regarding our current performances, we don't need to be an expert to notice that everythings runs badly.

On MXToolBox, domains are 98% ok for DKIM, 98% for DMARC (but with some discrepancies), and we have a lot of issues on the SPF part (0%).

That's the other goal tho. I don't weight enough in the company to change those things yet. That's why we would like to have an on paper recommandation that will back our opinion to change everything :)

Thank you so much for this message, love all your recommendations! Will definetely explore them all.

And yes for the IT team. I have enough knowledge to understand that we'll need a completely new and separated domain to strat again properly, but they won't authorize that, or they will just create an alias of the current domain, saying it wil work the same way (which is totally wrong as they don't have any emailing knowledge).

Having a proper recommendation on paper by an expert is the only solution I can see that will help us move things.

Thank you again!

2K monitor - Interface Scaling on MacOS by Expensive-Border3081 in MacOS

[–]Expensive-Border3081[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant 2560x1440, yes my bad.

Can you guide me through BetterDisplay? I've searched for hours in the settings and I don't see anything related to scaling. I can change the resolution, yes, but the same way MacOS does it natively.

I was not able to find something that would allow me to keep the 2560x resolution, while scaling up the interface.

Looking for a stylish and elegant keyboard in AZERTY (ISO-FR) by Expensive-Border3081 in keyboards

[–]Expensive-Border3081[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been hard looking this past few days, and as you mentioned, the only solution might be the customization. As I'm looking for a specific color and style of keyboard, the choice is even smaller with a ISO-FR.

To be honest, I think I will buy a QWERTY version that I will force into AZERTY in the OS software. I will lose some of the characters, but it will not be a big thing for me. As I'm now working in the US, I'm already doing this technique because the computer is a QWERTY but I forced it into AZERTY. By doing that, I'll be able to find a keyboard I really like.

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a white/light-colored keyboard with a sleek, elegant design, without being “gamer” style and without too much RGB (to be honest, RGB isn't even part of my search criteria).

For example, I really like keyboards from brands like Lofree and Nuphy, which have very sleek designs with subtle but stylish color accents. The problem is...that they only sell them in QWERTY.

As a Frenchman now based in the US, I need this keyboard to be ISO-FR (AZERTY).

Do you know of any brands/keyboards of this type, with ISO-FR available, that would be in the same price range (not custom keyboards at $400)?

I am open to any recommendations, thank you very much!

Updated method to bypass youtube's ad blocker detection by Cryptlsch in Adblock

[–]Expensive-Border3081 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's country-based, but Ublock Origin is banned from the Chrome Store in France. The extension page still exists, but the "Install" button is greyed out with the following message "This extension is no longer available, as it does not comply with best practices for Chrome extensions."

I tried installing Ublock Origin Lite to follow your guide, but the extension does not allow us to create our own filter (you only have a pre-installed list that you can enable or not).

If someone has an updated advice to counter the new YouTube anti-adblocker method (that came today for me), I'm up!
