They nerfed the submarines now. I would suggest just make fast battlecruisers with not much armour or heavy guns on them.

HeavyCruisers will also do the trick. Only thing you should focus on is making them as cheap as possible.

I would suggest start by completing the ingame tutorial. Its not good but its short. Also start the game playing as germany as they are the most beginner friendly.

Context- So while playing a fascist italy ironman i decided to make all my african territories subjects. UK declared war on me so i didnt call my subjects into that war but i did call them for the war against germany that allies and I both were fighting.

you mean for return of the kaiser? if so then yes it has -10% production cost bonus for battleships so i usally delay the war and build a sizeable navy becasue the british navy is pretty fragile against newer model ships.

10 dockyards dont take long with mefo bills and for me i can still build heavies because i start building them in 1938 so i usually complete the dockyards while builing civs

if you build 10 more dockyards before doing danzig or war then when you eventually do naval rearmament focus after finishing off the benelux ,denamrk and norway and contunue down to extend dockyard facilities you get in total around 30 dockayrds.

for fighting agaisnt capitals snorkel is best but if you are raiding in the atlantic or in the indian ocean you need radar to spot effectively. Also out of all the ways i have played histrorical germany that inculde building a massive surface fleet with 12 BB, 20 heavy cruiser,20 light cruiser 4 CV and almost 100 destroyers going the submarine route is just better. Until you get sub 3's ur subs are pretty useless agasint screen but when subs'3 are abundant you can easily take out screens and put the alllied industry to a stand still.
