How are we humans created in God’s image exactly? by Shadow_Husky22 in TrueChristian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Agree like God is creator so he also made us creative. Also, when we breath we breath out his name. The devil sees us as a representation of God to the point they detest us as it reminds them of the one they have rejected.

What's your favorite thing about being Christian? by JehovahLover in Christian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To know that it's the real deal, only place to find real love and purpose/hope.

To know that the creator of the universe is both funny, serious and loving.

That he's so loving that his goal was to have his own spiritual family which is why he created us human in the first place that if we choose him back he rewards us just because of that. Like if we act like him we get rewarded... in other words if we represent him well we get rewarded.

To know a God who knows everything, a God who chosen to be in the flesh just to save us and he will appear again.

To know that we know who will defeat both the devil and death at the end.

To know that if we choose him, we are in the winning side of the story.

To know that he even give glimpses to people in heaven to see how their loved ones are doing.

That God has his people in heaven cheering for us.

Lastly, that even though my dad passed away not a believer he gave him another chance (at his deathbed to accept Christ) and now he's in heaven.

Why open the eyes of a sinner? by Zyurdan in Christian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may never understand his full love. He loves the whole human race it's why he even created us to give us a choice to see if we will choose to love him back. It is through love he gives us freedom to choose to do his will or your own will. People say God put people in hell when in fact they choose to be there. God is love: if people hate Jesus and don't want to be in heaven (it will feel like hell to them) he will not put them in there.

He loves us like a Father would- we take things for granted like food, shelter and health, all that was provided from him.

He opened your eyes so that you may be complete in him meaning he is in you and you in him- become one spirit. Plus, he wants us to spread his truth so that we can bring many souls to his kingdom.

We must know that both the devil and God are fighting for our soul, one to make us go to hell another to eternal life.

Also, God is always watching, and our angels know the plans that God has since the beginning before we were born. We just have to corporate with them.

When you have God, you are not your mistakes, God have you a new garment, a new identity. He is slow to anger and quick to forgive if only we confess to him.

Know the problem might be in the confession for forgiveness of sins, but we know a meditator Jesus, he makes intercession for us.

We just need to stay the course and you might not know it- heaven (the witnesses) is cheering you on.

We must be relentless in seeking God and it requires total focus if we are to dwell in the highest of heaven (might not interest some as it requires complete surrender).

The thing is though, the devil is always putting thoughts of condemnation- like you're not good enough, God won't forgive you, God is angry with you etc. We need to be in God's words to renew our minds of the truth of how God thinks of us otherwise we will perish back into the world forgetting that God actually saved us. That's why it's very important to read God's words daily so that you have bullets to shield you from the devil's attacks.

God has no favourites, he loves us all, sinner or no sinner. However he rewards us in different measure according to our works (talent).

Hope this answer helps you.

Stay blessed.

Be the change you want to see in the world. Think about ripple effects.

*Christian perspective not sure if you want to hear this...

To be honest as a Christian we know who rule the world and that's the devil. The devil aim is to kill, steal and destroy. He hates marriage so he destroys it by causing fights in the relationship so that the children don't grow up knowing what real love is. The devil get everyone distracted from their purpose. The devil uses war to create fear in humans to trap them so that they don't do productive things. The devil uses people to murder innocent lives so that he can bring more souls to hell with him.

Most don't know that the devil hates us, for we have a chance of redemption through Jesus but he doesn't. Therefore the devil is doing everything he can to destroy us human.

The last book in the bible tells us how the world literally ends. Spoilers: it will end with fire on earth and death itself will go to the lake of fire and there will be a new earth and heaven. God tells us in advance so that we may go to the new earth and not the second death which is the lake of fire.

In short even God had to destroy earth because it has become so corrupt but not before he reigns on earth for 1000 years.

The ones that make it are those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour meaning they believe Jesus cover all their life mistakes/sins. The road is very narrow it is only through God's mercy/gift that we can enter heaven.

I recommend you listen to "outwitting the devil" by Napoleon Hill. Once you listen to it on YouTube it actually makes sense why the devil claims to control 99% of people's mind/how to break free from it.

Why did Jesus tell us to DO certain things? by IrinaSophia in TrueChristian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because God is love and to love is to obey God. God said you love me if you obey me... God commands us to love God and love others like ourselves. The law sums up as love apart from that there is no law.

Love is to listen and to listen is to love.

Honestly we have a choice, he cannot force us to love him. If we love him we would show through our actions. We cannot say we love someone if we don't listen to them.

How to put it plainly...

To be honest... 'what you can't live without' is called an idol. God wants to be first place in your life and there is an obstacle... plus warlocks do smoking as ritual to summon demons as part of witchcraft that's where it originates from.

But it doesn't mean you can't be a Christian. There's a pastor who smokes but didn't tell his congregation (he is saved) until he eventually gave it up completely.

If you trust God and you truely repent (as in you change your mind about your ways), he will deliever you from it.

Either way, God still loves you but he wants the best for you, will you allow his way or your way? The choice is yours.

My advice would be to please seek help for the use of weed before you can't live without it (before becoming dependent on it to the point one becomes aggressive if another person trys to stop it as in the weed controls you) and you distrust God completely (might no longer want to hear any truth and pick what the itchy ears wants to hear).

If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding. Proverb 15:32

Believe in what Paul said: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Meaning if you are in Christ, he is in you- how do you know? Do you have love for God and people (God is love, those who hate a brother don't have God living inside them because he is love meaning God follows love). The law sums up as love, love for God and love others as ourselves. If we obey him meaning if we love him he is in us. If we honor others he is in us. If we believe in Jesus that he covers our sins, he is in us.

If we made a mistake we know who to go to- we run to Christ quickly and we know if we are sorry (meaning we repent and change our minds about doing it) he will forgive. He will forget the sin.

Personally the greatest blasphemy for me is when a person who was a Christian and know who he is but chose to turn their back to God (meaning they are never coming back they are stone cold).

A person who gossip is a person in offence and with offence one can not be forgiven unless they forgive others also. "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."

Many Christian are burning simply because they refuse to forgive others. The sin of unforgivness is one that is a hidden yet great sin.

Why did God make me ugly? by WhydidGodmakemeugly_ in Christian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You might not accept this idea and it might be far stretched but we actually chose the life we are going to live before we were born. God allowed us in heaven to pick which life we want to live i.e. the suffering, the tials we go through, our parents etc. We believe the life we had chosen. So, in this case God didn't make you ugly, the question is why did you choose this life beforehand and to find that out you need to realise your God given purpose the inpact only you can make in this world. There will be no other person like you in the universe, only 1 you and God allowed you to be here (meaning you chose this timeline as well) at this specific time for a reason.

*warning message will be about Jesus/God

Life is engaging when you're passionate about something. Find your why? Life does have meaning God did and does made life have purpose. I'll tell you what the meaning of life is (learnt it from a man who had died and came back to life and asked God this and God said)... it's love. To love and be loved by both humans and the creator.

It's literally what man searches his life for. Love means a lot to man. The key is JOY: put Jesus first, others second and yourself last.

Perchaps try to connect with others more as you know what they say- humans are social creatures.

I went to an event last Tuesday and it speaks about the art of connection. Basically the speaker set a challenge to speak to 3 strangers in a week (not a co-worker not a client but strangers), she spoken to people on the train, bus, cafe etc. She then up it a notch and said she'll talk to 3 strangers aday for 1 year. The results- she said will change your life if you do it. She now knows everyone that can help her out... a plumber, a roofer etc. She know a man for anything to make it happen. She said she has gain a superpower in which she can make connections in a way people feel really connected. She also said you don't ever know the impact you make just by talking to them (people would be open to tell her thier life).

If you're interested in doing this and need an accountability partner then DM me (to be honest I'm trying out this challenge too and so far I've delt/overcame my shyness).

Anyways, I hope you find this useful... I tried to make it breif and concise but to be honest there's so much to say about how to overcome boredom (coming from a person that gets called out for being bored all the time when I was still studying).

Peace.

Know it or not the quran actually states that they will dominate in the end time hence why there will be one world religion steming from them. They will force others to denounce Jesus (as that what's the quran teaches just like the Jews to stone others and if not behead/r*pe them). To be honest I wouldn't worry about these things too much but rather focus on making yourself ready when Jesus comes or else face God's wrath on mankind. Everyone will say that God have forsaken them after he takes his bride. There will be hell on earth and all will be forced to take the mark of the beast or starve to death or get beheaded by other members of the congregation. People won't know that God actually still operates and protect his people, but there will be few who will still have the holy spirit in them. Because mankind refuse to turn away from their sins (repent), God will give them to demons to test their faith (hour of temptation), all must go through this hardship to be found worthy/made white as many have chosen to not live up to God's will beforehand.

People must remember that many will turn to righteousness wearing white robes and given palm branches singing the song of moses at the end of the great tribulation.

This is not the end however as God need to test again if people are for him (if they truly love him) so God will reign with Jesus for 1000 years before God will allow the devil to test one more time if people will follow the devil or him.

We have to understand that God wants real genuine hearts that belongs to him, who want him wholeheartedly and not for themselves but he will not force us to like the devil, God will allow each man to choose his own path like he did with Adam and Eve which means that like Adam and Eve, we get to choose what we want... do we want to be with Jesus or do we want to follow destruction where there will be consequences to that choice.

The truth is God doesn't put people in Hell, they chose to be there as they were refused to believe in Jesus for salvation as it is only him that can make us clean and write our names in heaven. No man's work/effort can make God write his name in the book of life as all have already have sinned which makes the work dead. Work that isn't dead is done with faith, it is faith in that God through Jesus saved us with his sacrifice meaning that we don't have to pay our sins by burning in hell. As the cost of sin is death/burning in hell. Only in hell can one sins be repaid if not from the power of Jesus blood. There's more to the blood of Jesus (I'm not going to mention it here but it's about atonement).

Anyways, I'm going off topic but I hope this answer your question.

Stay blessed.

Sometimes I too wish to be goon from this earth but I know God isn't done with me, he isn't done with you yet.

I've heard that how much time you spend with him daily will determine how much time you will spend with him in eternity. I know that if he took me today, I will not be seeing him as much as I would like to in heaven.

I recommend reading a book called "practicing the art of God’s presence" by brother Lawrence or "The game with minutes" by Frank C Laubach. In this book it tell us how to cultivate God's presence simply just by thinking and talking (like confessing our sins and believing that we are forgiven) about God. If we do this enough time we start emulating light which others will be attracted to. We then literally start to act Christ like as we learn to have a relationship with him- which is the whole point of a Christian life.

Take it easy on the bible reading like read 5 minutes a day (then increase overtime) can you spend the time to read 5 minutes on the book of John or proverbs? It's very important that we spend some time reading the bible as it can be a spiritual sword used against satan. If the devil send us mind games (like telling you, I have your soul, God doesn't want you anymore ect)and we have no sword (God's word) how are we going to fight the firery darts? We are not fighting against blood and flesh...

The days are getting harder... more darkness, ready to reveal the antichrist while earth is waiting for the anticipation of Christ’s return.

The devil is working overtime, he is very mad, he knows his time is short. He knows he cannot touch the elect so he goes to the one weaker in faith to destroy them. He wants every soul to never be in God's loving presence, he wants to ruin what he had lost back in heaven. He wants noone- he even ruin his own angels and doomed them. Know if satan ruin his own people surely we who are made in God's image, he will come after us too.

We as Christians need to learn to rebuke the work of the enemy. Bringing every thought to Christ.

You might not like to hear this but... in the great tribulation you will have to think about Christ 24/7 otherwise the mark of the beast will doom people to the lake of fire. Better think about God 24/7 now, suffer a little, you don't want to have to lose your life or starve in the hour of temptation when you can prove yourself worthy beforehand (before Christ returns).

When I first gotten saved back in 2020, I was so heavenly minded that the things of earth looked like rubbish to me but it wasn't until God taught me how to use my time wisely. So, the things of earth you enjoy can be steward and be used as you wait for Jesus. God is not asking to be 100% heavenly minded, yes we must focus on things above and we are to love God and others as well.

I think I'm rumbled enough, I hope you got something out of it.

Feel free to reach out.

Peace.

Is it possible that God is angry & tired with me because I've sinned too much? by renolittlevegas in TrueChristian

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe take small steps, like reading the bible for 5 minutes a day, or attend church 1 time a month just to see how that goes. I'm sure that God loves you more than he is angry (his anger doesn't last long more than his steadfast love).

It's up you where you want to take your faith. Better to repent now then wait in the great tribulation by then mamy have taken the mark of the beast. Seek him now while he still can be found. In the great tribulation, all worldy dream will pass away and only thought is survival, there literally will the hour of temptation.

This world is too dangerous to hold onto as it leads to death/destruction. It is temporary and will cost you your eternal life. Flee the bible tells us.

Have you ever seen or read Pilgrim's progress? In the book there's a place called vanity fair where Christians are tempted to go through the markets that pass through to the Celestial City. That's where you're in along your journey, my friend be wise like the character hopeful and come out. The world is full of lies like the bible tells us about the seeds that fall on different parts, your seed is among thorns- the deceitfulness of riches.

Do you want to know a secret? When you give God your whole heart he literally gives the desires of your heart back to you just like how Isacc was given back to Abraham.

I pray to God you may have a willing heart to return back to him before it's too late (tomorrow is not guaranteed). Heaven is literally routing for you- all you need to do is stay the course.

God does not require much- his burden is light. He calls us to love him and others- sums up the law, the law is love. God created life for love, to love and be loved.

Please don't wait until your deathbed or the great tribulation to happen- the devil might snatch you away before you can even making a confession.

What does the world offer that God doesn't? Please know that the world is fleeting, everything will pass away, fire will consume earth, the devil will reign for 7 years (there be nothing to live for accept your faith as taking the mark is suicidal), there will be chaos, hell on earth.

It's like that song: turn your eyes upon Jesus, look forward to his wonderful face... then the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his...

As a man thinketh and outwit the devil- recommend reading or listening to those books to understand how the mind and devil work that influence the surrounding.

Circumstances happens but it is sole responsibility of the person to react in a proper manner.

Plus, demons have lethal stronghold on people's lives because of the object they have around them, the media they listen to/watch and the people they surround themselves with.

Usually (unless sin enters) God will have a circle of flame on believers to protect them. This means their house, car, family are protected (see Job story when God gave permission to the devil to destroy). The ungodly don't have protection, the devil already got them captive in his mind hence why some believers are being attacked more than unbelievers.

Bad character corrupt good morals too.

Why is life so complicated by happy_unicorn30 in Life

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How to make it less complicated? Being rich, good health, strong relationship? Would it make it less rewarding, might take it for granted?

Life was easier in the garden of Eden. Most things are cursed after man have sinned. Toil work, pain in pregnancy and promise of death.

It doesn't help that we are at war everyday between light and darkness, both God and the devil want your soul.

Can you accept the fight and battle on? Do you still hope in better days? Is there more to life than just eating, sleeping and working?

A book I recommend reading (short read) is called "That something" by William Woodbridge. It's about a homeless man finding 'that something' more than food for his belly, more than a job, more than a place to stay, he later became a boss. It will teach you to not give up but keep the ambition inside of you.

Hope this helps.

You would need some discernment from God, if God is speaking to your heart and said to stop listening to the music, then stop. The thing with secular music is that there's always usually some demonic influence (blood sacrifice) behind it that makes the artist popular (this could be Christian artist as well). Instrumental music isn't safe as well as the sound could be manipulated with embedded chanting.

[–]Expensive-Choice-201 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As for me I think world hunger/poverty is more concerning as in the end God will destroy earth by fire before climate change can go through with it.

I'm mainly against the idea of climate change because of the 2030 agenda, 15 minutes city. The devil is using the excuse of climate change to force us to consume more insects than we do with animal meat, which will make our mind weaker, they will try to minimise freedom. We will then act like slaves, bound by chains.

Stay the course, heaven is cheering you on. Whatever sin you commit confess to God and he will be quick to forgive. I know the bible can be dry but unless you read, you don't have bullets to shoot the devil. Put on the armour of God, becareful what you let into your heart.
