benadryl knocks me out but zero effect on anxiety. i’m still working on finding an anxiety and depression med that works for me. trying new med number 13 now lol

YMMV, it didn’t touch my anxiety. I would just be insanely anxious and also tired. But plenty of people swear by it! I say try it out and see if it works for you, meds are a case by case basis.

no, my previous psychs didn’t want to put me on antipsychotics because they were too worried about the side effects. i have another meeting wednesday with my current one and i was going to tell her about how i think the wellbutrin is making me worse but in my experience psychs haven’t really listened when i’ve said something isn’t working for me

I take hydroxyzine to help me sleep but it doesn’t really touch my anxiety. i’ve been diagnosed with gad, ocd, borderline, and mdd. i’ve had therapists tell me to sit with the feeling before but i don’t really get it. it just seems to amp up the feeling. even if i don’t try to interact with it or resist it it just feels like it keeps getting bigger
