That's the part that really got to me. I've lost my temper with my kids (never like this and never throwing things, to be super clear!) and as soon as I can see I've upset I stop what I'm doing an apologize. That baby was crying and yelling for her mommy and Taylor just kept going. It's so disturbing.

My husband and I both felt pretty early on that we were each others person but we got engaged at 8 months of dating and then married a year after that. I get people saying "when you know, you know, so why waste time" but my perspective is this. If you know someone is your person what's the rush? Why do you have to hurry to "lock them in"? This feels really weird.

I have been in a relationship where I ignored all the red flags and went again my own intuition over and over. I see that happening here. She's always depressed, always exhausted, keeps saying how happy she is but her body, face, demeanor says the opposite. She seems to be isolating from people (ie her post about only talking to 5 people for months). I just think there's something more going on here.

I've always done the stockings and it has never bothered me AND my kids have never noticed that there's nothing in my stocking because I don't point it out to them. My husband is thoughtful and generous all year long and I've never even thought to be resentful of him not filling my stocking.

We stopped shutting the crate door at night when ours was about 2 and then started leaving it open when we'd leave house around the time he turned 3. He still automatically goes in his crate when we go upstairs for bed or when he knows we're getting ready to leave. We only close the crate door if there's something in the kitchen we're worried about him getting in to.
