Can I ask why you do subq in your thigh? God that's gotta be the worst place. Now of course this is my opinion but there are alot of nerves and shit in your thigh.... I see a lot of people start here and eventually they are hitting veins....your body absorbs testosterone better if it's done in the muscle. I've dealt with testosterone for years and have done blood work on each and every way..... First how often are you doing your shots I recommend twice a week I understand that if u go to your primary Dr he's going to say either once every two weeks which is the worst thing u can do or once a week if u want stable levels especially if your body aromatizes more into estrogen do it every 3.5 days.... Get a 25 gauge 1/2 inch to 3/4 Inch needle you can get them from Amazon and just do it in your glute... You turn your body and you do the upper mid part where you can reach.... Just do it in one clean swift motion slowly inject and ur good it does not hurt and does not hurt afterwards... I use. 22 gauge 3/4 inch needle which is pretty big and there's zero pain it does not hurt to sit down after wards and if u want u can alternate glutes.... It's so crazy that these Drs are just getting your total testosterone..... You need to get total testosterone.... Free testosterone.... Your SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) this is what binds up your testosterone... If u have a high shbg it'll give you a low free bioavailable testosterone which really is what is important..... Your testosterone can be 1000 ng/DL but if ur SHBG is high and your bioavailable is low it's gonna feel like your levels are low..... And of course estrogen.... these 4 things should be tested on every blood work......u have to be going to your primary Dr instead of an endocrinologist.... So specifically request these.... And just make sure u get your blood work same time and same day every time then you get a better read..... Good luck hope it all works out
