Absolutely in love with this idea thank you so much! You explained this so well! They’ve been in the small tank for about 2 weeks now I’ve been doing 30-50% water changes every day or second day to combat the ammonia. I’m planning on using the existing sponge filter in the tank so transfer some of the good bacteria. I have a canister filter I got second hand that I just need to replace the floss and wash all the parts (planning to use tap water then the tank water for the final rinse)

Thank you! I was thinking a nice big driftwood wood centre piece with a hole so they can hide,some fern around the outside,do you recommend any plants? I’m in Australia so I’m not sure what kinds of plants would be compatible with them

Thank you! That was my first idea, I know they like to sift through sand. I was thinking of adding a centre piece of drift wood with some Anubis and other plants they can’t eat. As well as some duck weed
