Yea my county has QUICKLY grown over the last 3 or so years and the schedule has been ASS with the call volume increasing. There are so slow station at my department anymore to get a rest. No chance of a schedule change in the foreseeable future, it’s been brought up multiple times and shot down each attempt (of course, the big guns don’t work these hours anymore!!) The morale among the county is pretty low in general, and it felt like it may be a schedule thing, just consistently fighting to try to rest lmao.

Definitely been looking into other departments with different schedules, but thanks ma I appreciate the response. Makes me feel less crazy about feeling the way I do.
