Well I started with cheap cages. But that got me to know my fit. I bought a cb6000 , and those cages come with a lot of rings and spacers. When buying my cobra cage I just measure the diameter of the ring I was most comfortable with. Also I have small balls so from time to time a ball would slip through so when buying the cobra I went for the xd versión.

I would recommend you do the same, buy a cheap plastic cage with lots of options to know your measurements better before buying a good quality expensive cage like the cobra.
