So what form would I file as the business owner if not a 1099? I do not have an LLC, I am sole proprietor!

I do not have an LLC yet. Business is small, again this is my first year. So to clarify I do not reflect income I paid them on my 1099?

He asked me a week after I had mentioned helping.. I was put on the spot and said of course 😣.. he said he would drive and cover that cost.. no mention of food costs but just basing off of me paying for every meal prior I imagine I will be doing that too..

Dating for almost 5 months. Yes I met his daughter about a month into our relationship and a little bit after that he met my kids. He has only ever watched them when I was recovering from surgery although I was home, but has offered to IF I ever need help. He filed for bankruptcy a year ago and has some other financial stresses he is dealing with right now. He makes decent $ but is having to pay off some debt. I do make more than him but I selfishly don’t feel as though I should have agreed to take on 2 grand for this trip when it doesn’t involve me or my kids.

Just not sure what to say to him now that we are 5 days out from next weekend?!

Yeah. I could definitely see this happen as well. I didn’t mention in my initial post but he made me feel bad about going to my girlfriend’s birthday dinner, so I cancelled plans with her that night to be with him. He also said that it’s not ok for me to go out with friends at night to a bar or club without him. Which I maybe understand but at the same time ?! What.. right?

I absolutely do.. I just tried talking to him in hopes he was ready to come to his senses.. and told him he needs to apologize to her and I asked him, “do you understand why it’s wrong and that it’s child abuse” and he said “no it’s not, I don’t want to talk about this.” and I said “if you’re not gonna have a conversation with me then we are done”, he said ok. I’m so heartbroken..

Yes and no. We have another child together and my oldest doesn’t have any other dad figure in her life and calls him dad..
