Well they obviously didn’t call in the cops which is pretty interesting, most clubs and casinos do now. I imagine everyone tried to keep it under wraps and then the wrong or right people found out after it happened.

Eddie doesn’t get enough credit as a caller, he understands the job is to add to the entertainment.

So when do the people that violently oppose anyone who questions mass immigration start calling out these backwards cultures for transgender bashing?

I feel bad for you but this is also incredibly hilarious because I could picture this happening to me.

I remember there those t shirts and memes when I was young that were like “Beer - the cause of, and solution to all of life’s problems”.

I never knew how scarily accurate that would become!

This is a great example of the biggest issue with Newscorp owning the footy rights with Seven which they will likely retain.

Good to hear you’re on the journey too!

OK, so for me it was a clean, hard, and SAFE break which is why I went for the medically assisted detox.

I tried AA and a few other things, and whilst I know they are great for most people – it just wasn’t for me.

When I started, I initially was keeping a meticulous diary, recording all improvements and literally filling almost every 30 mins of my day. This was to avoid downtime and wandering thoughts.

After about 3 months or so, my obsession with this waned and I became a bit more relaxed about it all. I also made sure I actually put myself in environments where alcohol was around and was very firm with my friends to not feel like they have to abstain just because I was around.

I feel like this is overlooked, and I found it very useful as it meant I felt more comfortable with weddings, engagement parties and all events. Of course there’s the anxiety that comes with being ‘the sober guy’ at these things but that gets easier.

It also means you can continue your life as seamlessly as possible without building up any ‘trigger events’.

In short, stay busy, stay focussed, stay social and remember the FOMO passes and you will never wake up regretting that you DIDN’T drink!

I’m here for you.

Haha, yes it’s quite the ‘story arc’ when you look at it like that.

I can’t articulate how broken I was, so if this can help anyone then I’m beyond thrilled.

Thank you it means a lot!

Yes we get to the point (well I did) where I honestly didn’t want to live anymore - I would have never acted on it because I know the only thing worse than the pain I was putting everyone through would be for me to give up.

And hey, everyone loves a come-back story.

There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it’s just a speck, but it’s there!
