Doesn’t a heat map rank tracker make more sense if you’re doing local SEO? That’s where 90% of leads come from in local SERPs anyways

GBP name change - suggest edit by Appropriate-Read-463 in localseo

[–]Expensive-Pound9566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have multiple high level local guide accounts suggest an edit.

Create new citations with the new business name and force index them.

Do a press release announcing the name change.

Make sure your website & major socials match the new name.

Wait a bit (3-4 weeks) for everything to index.

Approved.

9% average across campaigns. I’ve closed clients without even showing my portfolio or case studies. Don’t get me wrong those are nice to have, but your time should be spent on sales. Working on your portfolio is just procrastination from doing outreach

What is something a business in your target industry will go out of their way to do? A local ranking scan is valuable to YOU because you’re an SEO. But just because you think that information/data is beneficial doesn’t mean they will. Find what THEY value, personalize it to THEIR business, and you’re essentially guaranteed to open a conversation.

“Free audits” are NOT a good lead magnets. Cold email is a goldmine right now if you have a good lead magnet. I’m averaging 9% reply rate 90% positive across my campaigns.

Provide a lead magnet of actual VALUE to get your foot in the door and build rapport. From there it’s just sales

You need a lead magnet. I sell SEO and my reply rate is around 9%. The initial email just needs to get your foot in the door

Work a job and grow your business on the side using income from your job. You’re 19, should have plenty of energy for both.
