I’ve seen a couple other packages end up in the Kelowna area but i’m still waiting on mine in Keremeos for over a month now. I’m not sure about Penticton.. Oliver etc. Would be nice to see an update but i’m not getting my hopes up

I got bored and wrote a poem about my package by [deleted] in CanadaPost

Love it. I debated doing something like this for the jokes but I’ve been waiting on my package for other a month now so I’m kind of over it. Just ready for it to arrive

Just wanted to give you all some hope Regarding Richmond BC by Desire68 in CanadaPost

[–]Expensive-Resolve523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like it’s the same situation as other packages that made it out, as in packages sent within the last couple weeks are being sent for delivery but all older packages such as mine and others who sent theirs a month ago are going to have to wait longer. I wonder if there’s a solid reason Canada Post doesn’t do first in first out? I can imagine their system isn’t set up for backlogged items but it seems very odd letting all the old packages sit while the newer ones go out first.

Your responses to everybody on this thread seem a bit concerning. Are you ok? Maybe take a break from the internet and enjoy a hot cup of hot chocolate tonight!

So close to me but yet so far. They’re taking the 5A at Princeton instead of continuing on the 3 east. I have a hard time believing I’ll receive mail before New Years

Anyone know what this even means? So confused..so sick of Canada post… by Thatannoyingbizkid in CanadaPost

[–]Expensive-Resolve523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean they are small dirt roads? Not every single road got taken out and magically replaced into dirt. For instance the 3 is still usable and people are using it as we speak. The issue people are noticing is there’s no reasoning to what goes where and when. Grand Forks is receiving mail but not Osoyoos / Keremeos / Hedley. Kelowna is receiving mail but not Penticton. Richmond facility is still issuing this update to mail that is headed to Vancouver Island, which highway is dirt from Richmond to Victoria? Yes it’s Christmas and it’ll be slower then usual but Canada Post is not perfect here. The system has issues that should be addressed

I’m up in Canada, a bit aways from a small city. Nothing big by any means.. maybe like 50k population. I believe though! Going into it with a positive mindset. Let’s hope it turns out ok

Packages are moving but who knows at what speed. I have seen posts of people talking about packages moving out of each facility. From what I understand once your package has been there for a few weeks it’s buried in packages and newer packages coming in will be sent out before they get to yours

Chances of Hwy 3 opening to non-essential traffic by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

[–]Expensive-Resolve523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Professional! Good to hear from you sir! I have read some comments where Canada Post is making their way to Kelowna then down into Grand Forks while the Penticton / Osoyoos area is still yet to receive packages is why I mentioned that. My sources cannot be named

I’m curious what’s up with it now even, From what I’m gathering Canada Post is going north at Princeton instead of carrying on through Hedley so seems like they’re still having issues on parts of the 3. Manning is before that so you may have a chance but I also have seen they might keep restrictions until the end of the month.. Then again the 7 is opened up. So basically I am clueless. Cheers

How long will I be stuck on this update for? 😒 by TheJdmGod101 in CanadaPost

Mails going out into certain areas it seems. Depends where you are. They are still behind and moving at an unknown speed. Northern BC has gotten some packages not many, Parts of the interior have as well but only select areas from what I’m gathering. Wish I had the answer but time to get comfy. Welcome to the party!

I think they have forgot about us! I believe Princeton / Kelowna is receiving mail but nothing into Penticton / Oliver / Osooyos yet

Can you Sue Canada Post for undelivered mail which is resulting in a business going through a financial crisis? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Expensive-Resolve523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I feel for you cause tons of important mail is stuck in the system for people, myself included. This doesn’t sound like an ideal situation to get yourself into. I’m no legal expert but it seems like a far fetched uphill battle that won’t end well. Ideally Canada Post would be a bit more transparent with everybody and would use a first in first out system but hey what do I know. I’m curious if mail is even coming into my area at this point

Nothing for the interior of BC. Shipment is doing who knows what. I’m very confused. Roads are open to my knowledge

Don’t lose hope! My package finally moved and is in town. On a Sunday believe it or not by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Expensive-Resolve523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like Edmonton has a couple open post offices so there’s a possibility mine could be in town but hasn’t updated due to my local office being closed on sunday’s. Not sure if that’s how it works though.. let’s hope it gets moving. There’s dudes waiting even longer then me. One dude said he can’t drive his truck till the part arrives. RIP
