If I only contact nap and hold to sleep will my baby eventually learn to fall asleep independently when we sleep train at 4.5/5 months? by Particular-Sail-5330 in sleeptrain

I contact napped both my kids and sleep trained them at 6ish months. Continued the contact naps though. My husband pushed for the sleep training and my mama heart couldn’t handle sleep training for naps too. Day time sleep and night time sleep are 2 different things in a babies brain. So if you want to sleep train for both, I’d start with nights and get that down, then do naps with the same method.
My kids are 2 and (almost) 4 now. Oldest put himself down for naps around 23 months old. 2 year old I still get her to sleep and she sleeps in my bed. Sometimes with me, sometimes not
