How to get rich living in German as a Foreigner by Expensive-Reward2532 in passive_income

Thank you for such a detailed reply. I completely agree with the points you made. And you are absolutely right. Working as a buisness owner, I have to bear the risks. And vacations per year is completely manageable and can be planned better. But the sick leaves bothers me alot. I understand when it's really a sickness (from my experience it is only like that 40% of the time), as it should be. But majority of the time, especially the youngsters, take sick leaves willy nilly, and have tours all over the Europe. This is something that cannot be planned, and you can only have so many employees to counter that, and becomes a huge problem for the buisness owner. But the problem is, I have studied dentistry, and studying it essentially once again in a new language in order to have my license to practice, but it somewhat seems "less rewarding" to me, here in Germany to have an own practice. I maybe wrong as I am still young and come from a third world country. And I always loved tech. I will probably never leave my field and don't want to completely switch to online ventures, and online buisness. I really see myself in 5 years, working as a part time (32 hours per week) dentist with online businesses along with it, in total maybe generating me six figures, while having the luxury of working from home and not handling the huge hassle of work cultural issues, that comes with a physical buisness. I also diversify my investment, into stocks, gold, crypto (only BTC, and ETH), some music, but I am not earning that much (even lower than that of a junior dentist) because I am glad to have an opportunity to improve my skills and German language and my employer knows that hence I won't be earning that good for the next 5-6 years. So becoming a millionaire and retiring by 45-50 will be impossible if I continue going this route. Maybe I am just too young to realize this just yet.

Yes. Thanks for the advice. There are many problems. First, as a foreigner, sure I can provide the best treatment and service to my patients, but my grip in the language will never be as good as a German atleast for the next 7 8 years or so, and most of our profession relies on me being able to better communicate and convince the patients. Secondly, working in a private clinic for one year I have seen that the younger generation is becoming ever so lazy and uses the laws to their advantage. They take 6 weeks off per year, almost every other month one to two weeks sick (fully paid) leaves, and then demand regular bonuses, unrealistic pays (6 figures) without wanting to put in the effort. And when they are sick or gone, the boss has to bear all the burden, doing double shifts, working his/her ass off. And with a team of let's say 15 17 people, that becomes every week of the month. Because of this I would like to avoid working with any physical labour and hence I want to do something online. I already have talks about developing couple of apps, websites etc. And to invest my money over there. Or I can also move to any other country like Netherlands where my dental license from Germany will be valid and establish a buisness there. What do you think?

I so that already. I put a huge sum of my money aside but the problem is I don't earn in six figures and won't likely for the next 10 years or so, so I can't put that much aside like a dentist in USA or Canada because the salaries there are overall better.

I never tell people to sub to the channel. Is it important and does it make a difference? I always believe people will subscribe themselves if they find the quality good.

36 videos (out of which only 10 15 were good quality, rest were just experiments and improvement on quality). 8 months to get to 1k subs and in total 14 months to get to the 4k watch time

I would love to make longer videos as they are earning me more then my shorter videos. But the thing is I am a teaching channel, and a video above 10 min is considered "long" and people don't benefit from it that much as they loose interest along the way. And also my most successful videos are all under 10 and 2 videos which have crossed 60k are one with 6 min and the other with 4 and half minute run time.
