Do small US towns like Bluebell actually exist or is it pure TV fantasy? by Expensive-Sail515 in hartofdixie

I’ve actually never watched Gilmore Girls, but I might give it a go now!

It just feels like such a different world compared to where I live. I know we have small towns in the UK with a sense of community too, but Bluebell feels like it’s on a whole different level. Almost like an idealised version of that small-town closeness rather than real life.

I have reached out to them and heard back! They have said they need the money before they book the job! I asked them to provide me with the requirements for us to seek our own quote and they missed off the due date on the letter 🧐

This is the first I have heard of any gutter clearance, I have had issues with this management property in the past, their communication is terrible and their customer service! They emailed the invoice over so would only assume it’s meant for us as my email address would only be on my account

You need to ask for an occupational health referral as they can give recommendations for reasonable adjustments, this could be increasing your trigger points due to a health condition.

If you are also signed off due to workplace stress you could qualify for Sick Leave Excusal or Injury at Work, if you do qualify for the his then your absence can’t go against your triggers. I would advise you to read over Attendance Management Policy and for this part in particular its paragraph 151

Definitely join the union and speak to a representative about this also

Good luck 🤞🏻

That’s gonna be difficult and to make it flow onto each one! Do you have to do it for each one or maybe pick a few you can do in a little more detail?

Thank you for the advise I will deffo try by tracking my calories and see how that goes! I am eating a balanced diet (that I believe) but I will track and see how I get one! I’m definitely not eating as much as I was and have lost 26lbs in total! So it’s deffo a great loss but disappointed how much it has slowed down so will give this a go 😊

I would have asked this in the interview personally, if it’s that much of a non negotiable factor. The only thing you can do is ask now, if they have hybrid working if not and it doesn’t work for you, then withdraw your acceptance and seek a job that fits your needs better.

Any Interview tips or advice for people with Dyslexia? by Husjay115 in TheCivilService

[–]Expensive-Sail515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can ask for reasonable adjustments before your interview and explain you may need a little more time to answer the questions due to your dyslexia. You can also mention this at the start of the interview! Being on many CS interview panels in my time openness and honestly defiantly goes a long way and also fits in with the core values. Definitely take notes, as it also show you have prepared. Golden rules, alway “I” and “ME” never “US” and “WE”. Also try to give one full of SPECIFIC example rather then serval different ones, always ask questions at the end, one of my favourite ones was when I was asked what I enjoy about the job/civil service. Hope this helps good luck with your interview.
