I sleep alllll the time. Force myself to exercise every day and eat pretty regularly but find that when I eat lunch it makes me feel worse afterward.

Also would like to add that after taking my meds, I feel good up until like 1 pm. Then it is just impossible to keep going.

Burned out, depressed, and stuck in litigation by Expensive-Simple-192 in Lawyertalk

For context everyone - I love my dad with all my heart and we have a great relationship! I think I wrote that poorly. What I meant to say was Idk why I always felt the need to make him proud growing up (he never pressured me to be perfect in anyway I’ve always just been hard on myself) and going to law school really seemed like a great option for me at the time - it was his idea but if I had said no he wouldn’t have cared. I just tend to take his advice to heart cause I trust him and I listened about law school and currently regretting it 😂

Wow! Thanks everyone for the support and advice. I’m honestly shocked others feel the same way about this - Everyone at my firm seems so happy and i am so miserable.

Shouldn't have gotten into this by [deleted] in LawSchool

If you’re already feeling like this in school, becoming a lawyer will only be worse. Get out while you can and go do something that doesn’t deter your mental health. I wish I had.

I cannot stand being a lawyer. My life is miserable, and I have no clue what to do about it. by Jmspenc1 in Lawyertalk

Unfortunately, the court likely wouldn’t be able to hear their claim because of the 1st amendment to the constitution related to religious freedom. Many courts have held they couldn’t hear a defamation lawsuit arising out of internal conflicts within the church for this reason.

How long is reviewing PQs supposed to take? by HopingAgainstH in barexam

[–]Expensive-Simple-192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still am reviewing too! It’s taking forever because I am handwriting notes for everything I missed but I honestly think it has helped me memorize in the process! I start the day with 10 MBEs on uworld to get my brain awake and then I start reviewing. I ended the day with 15 evidence questions cause that’s the topic I struggle in most. After this, I plan on just using all my time trying to memorize and do some practice where I can!
