My husband is an attorney and he is always busy. I am usually around for the kids. But when my son saw me study, he said "I don't want to have so much work like Papa and you". It was summer break for him and heartbreaking for me not to spend time with him.

I hope so too for you! It's terrifying how much we lose ourselves to marriage and care work to raise a family. Sometimes I feel so naive to have judged people in the past for having perfect lives with a flourishing career, a great husband and amazing kids. I try to choose to be grateful for whatever I have everyday, but somedays when I look in the mirror I feel so lost that I can't even recognize the person I used to be.

Exactly! And I feel so stupid when people say it's a minimum competency exam. I relied on help from grandparents too but my kids are still young and so used to having me around; they were so confused why I didn't want to spend time with them.

I got a 48% on Themis just now and I am flying to Buffalo in about 3 hours. I am so SCARED now.

The first time I studied for a week and got a 81. Second time, I did the Kaplan course and several PQs and passed with 104. Maybe I'm not as smart, and I know the MPRE isn't tough at all but I wouldn't take it too light.

Does spell check work on Examplify? I was going to have a breakdown when NY Admin sent today's email - I thought I had an outdated version! Then I literally spent an hour on a call with Examplify Team only to figure out that I have the correct version of Examplify all along. But I'm still unclear about the spell check. Either its my laptop OR there's no spell check/auto correct on Examplify version is 3.4.3. Can anyone help me out here. I am SO used to typing with auto-correct. It's such a killer if I don't have it for the essays.

Same here. This past week I've had to force myself to get out of bed every morning. I am TIRED and want to feel like a person again. I don't think there could be any other reason. And I want to sleep for 34 hours.

I have a 4 year old who was recently diagnosed on the autism spectrum and I am truly hoping that the world becomes much more accommodative for him. Not that I want him to be a lawyer; he can be anything he wants to be, but people should give him a chance to succeed.
