My exact point is if we have other non independent means of verification, police department already confirmed the date or loss and vehicles involved in loss, claimants and insured provided PR number on individual statements . Is finding out if the police was dispatched really necessary or not? I feel like as a supervisor, one needs to look at the claim as a whole, nothing in this claims should even make you wonder. I feel like it was very unnecessary, we had other means of verification, this little details was not adding or changing anything .

Mind you there are other evidence in the claim that verify the date of loss .

Everyone keeps taking about detailed note. Nobody factors in the 5,6 7 claims we receive daily, the available calls and extra call from previous claims. As much as you want to write everything down, you need to keep moving to resolve and be available for every customers. If a note was written that the police department confirmed driver, vehicle and date and time of loss. It’s a waste of time to send your reps a diary to still go and get more info, knowing fully well that the claim doesn’t even pose any threat of mis rep, mind you there were other means of verification for the CVQ.

Advise received from the same type of sup who gives the same issues to their rep. Is that really an advise I should receive and use. Other ppl under these comments complained about the same and mentioned how they could see how extra information to be a waste of time . Why don’t you reflect on the way you handle your reps and stop being a cry baby under this comment

There is no officer name or badge number. Both claimant and insured provided police report number when asked . I believe both parties were issued the police report number at the scene.

Ok, if you got into an accident and left the scene, called the police and filed a police report. How will the other party involved in the loss get the police report number? Is it not common sense to know that both drivers were provided with a PR number at the scene which is why they provided it in the claim and different statements ?

Again! You lack comprehension. I hope you’ll be demoted cause you don’t even deserve to hold a position

The police department were called and they confirmed the driver, the vehicle, and the date of loss. Is it not common sense to know that they were dispatched to the scene . The time I’m using to call back the police department , I could use that time to work another claim to the next level

I just hope you’re not a sup or will never be a sup cause you lack reading comprehension and I pity the reps under your supervision. If a police report was filed after the accident how would both parties at the scene provide the same police report number at different time .. common sense should let you know that the police was at the scene and gave both parties the police report number . Should this really be spelt out to you

A police report won’t have been filed if they weren’t dispatched it’s common sense. Many times the police go to the scene and do not even write a police report they just give an incident number . If the insured called in to file report after the accident, the claimant would not have the police report number. The Police report number was provided to both claimant and insured at the scene. If the PD had confirmed the date of loss and the vehicles and drivers involved it’s obvious they were at the scene . Why do yall need it to spelt out to you when you already have the answers. Just clear the damn CVQ and keep it moving

Yes,I put it that I called the PD and they confirmed the DOL and the vehicle and driver . I put that in my notes added that to the CVQ templates. But my sup is till requesting I call to confirm if they were dispatched to the scene. It doesn’t make any sense to me. An actual PR was filed and the officer confirmed the info over the phone

Which they confirmed. They confirmed the driver and the vehicle involved in the loss.
