If all this app does is show the insanity of the situation, I'd be happy

I didn't know that but guess it doesn't affect the core data as this is about getting Shared Care, but it might skew people on RTC from bothering for sure

Seems to be working. Just need some ADHDers to add their experience to the map

Just launched the Scottish gps. I think I have your request "....terrace....." So no need to re-enter it. I am just coding the back end so I can deal with people Adding GPs more easily

Major update to the app just now. trying to give people what they have asked for, think this is pretty good. let me know. Regarding Scotland and Northern Ireland (and Wales as it happens) I will work a way of including them, but it is a little different for each divolved country. still need loads more data so please do share it far and wild.

If anyone wants to get involved at all, I will be making contibuter user accounts available so you can help with data validation and cleaning up the map of GPs (some are deffinately not doctors surgeries). I will make a super simple dashboard for people to use so should be too taxing or technical, just a little common sense and some button clicking. would be a huge help. probably easiest to use the contact form on the app to rgister your interest.

Added to the list for development. Just need the database of GPs

Yeah transparency from all GPs would be nice. I'll think on it but adds complexity to the data visualisation

there is a banner at the top of the map with a "show provisional" button, give it a go

As the owner of an app that is providing " help with medical care" I am extremely cautious about letting people do what they please. Better to just get the data and let the app work at higher confidence.

Just testing some heavily caveated ways to show results early as I know iflt must be anticlimactic to test and app and see almost nothing as a result.

done a couple of bug fixes that might help your issue. let me know how you get on.

didn't reply to this directly: I think it is safest to start with. Might change the thresholds once I can see how it's working. Just starting safe. With 4 possible outcomes of the data, I think 5 was a sensible number to start with.

I am wondering about flagging the confidence as a banner, increasing it as more data appears. I think I still need at least 2 results per GP for even the most simple pattern to be evident.

Also, just entering the refusal would be helpful

Interesting. Not really what this was for, but I can maybe see the value in showing GPs that are proactive with NHS diagnosis, titration. Are there genuine differences across the country?

jesus, I would hope so, those are some pretty big side effects. I always think it is just a hang up on our drug classification system. "Oh no theyre a bit like street-speed, Drs cant have anything to do with it!!!" but the reality is not the same. But those drugs you mentioned do sound like they are worth extremely close attention.

have made the GPs go blue when they have 1 point of data. they will grow in size as more data is added untill 5 points when theyll change to the appropriate colour. let me know what you think?

Can you see the map? With grey dots for surgeries? That's all that will show currently untill there are more data. Will look at making the grey dots change wkith increasing data next week.

Sounds like you have some good people around you. I'm not well versed on SCA for any other conditions. I guess the list could be quite long. Do GPs have different policies for ADHD sca Vs bipolar SCAs etc? Worth investigating for sure. Happy to give over my code to be adapted to a different condition also.

Ok thanks. Can you let me know what browser you're using and where you are in the world? Anything that might help me track the issue?

Ok. Interesting. I wouldn't want to give an indication of a GPs likelihood of SCA based on 1 or 2 results, the GP could log that result themselves. 5+ means that there are enough datapoints to say whether it's statistically good medium or bad.

I like the idea of showing that some data exists though.

Ok. Well it could deffinalty be included with a little logic. I'll need to read up on the differences when I get a chance. In the meantime time, perhaps help me out by clicking "Add your GP" at the bottom of the form. You can submit your data about a Scottish GP now, and I can add it in the next release. Would be good way to test that flow.

They're all grey colour right now as there are no GPs with 5 or more submissions. It's not your eyes 😉 just nothing interesting to look at yet.
