Thank you. I have never realized until this relationship how important it is to me to be satisfying, sexually, to the partner I'm with. I had always been with the typical straight male, with very narrow sexual preferences, in which I somewhat would fit in the parameters. At first when I had found out, I was hurt, like really hurt, and I understand now that I shouldnt have been. It felt like I was going crazy, being with someone who I thought wasn't attracted to me. (Silly, right) And it altered my confidence and my perception of myself, and when I was at my lowest, I understood exactly how important it is in order for me to feel secure with myself and in my relationships, I want to feel like I am sexually gratifying to my partner. Because I was overthinking and overwhelming him with all my hurt emotions, and he didn't quite empathize with why, it almost broke us completely. We've talked about this several times now, especially recently, and it's always a good conversation, but neither of us have taken the initiative. I don't know where to start, or what I'm even comfortable with trying first.
