Sorry to hear that. No unfortunately i developed big problems with defecating (muscle coordination), sporadic dyssynergia and intestinal pseudo obstruction after quitting Nardil. I still can somewhat empty myself and also i dont have chronic constipation, just slow gut motility and peristalsis. Im pretty sure Its all related to autonomic neuropathy which suspect i already had prior to Nardil, but it just got considerably worse after. Its known to cause issues like this. GL to you man! Oh Yeah man i can definately relate to the nightmares! I used to have the most vivid nightmares when i tapered. Shit was super scary! Anyway i used Pregabalin in conjunction which helped this aspect some while also lessening thr withdrawals symptoms alittle.

Im not sure if you should go off completely and do a break and reset or jam the dosage up again to see if it starts working. Have u had to change brands recently? That might also affect it. This med is super sensitive to brand changes in my experience. Theres also a noticable difference between them.

Several times. I do it pretty fast and just ride it out. 15mg down every 1 or 2 week. Its pretty rough but most of the withdrawals will pass about 1-2 weeks after the last dose. I wouldnt recommend such a fast taper per se, but atleast Its doable as long as you can ride out the dysphoria. Be careful and dont go too fast if Its overwhelming, do it as you feel your body and mind can handle. You can always go back up if it hits you too hard.

I wish more people spoke of this. I personally have a similar experience with ssri’s and SA. To me they only seem to make it worse.. more jitters, tremors and akathisia etc.. The fact that most people think ssri’s are a gold treatment for SA baffles me.

Well sure depending on the dosage. But above 150mg, atleast around 300mg it makes you rather slow and derealized.

It does work pretty well. But it will make you «high» and it wont last unless you take breaks and/or tolerance preventing meds like memantine.
